Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 4, 2007 I'll argue against Miami being considered a top team in the ACC Costal for the time being. They've got a new coach in Randy Shannon but I wouldn't sell them as being on par with V-Tech or the Ramblin' Wreck yet. V-Tech doesn't even look that good. The ACC looks like it'll just be between GT and Clemson this year, with BC thrown in for a challenge. The AP Recap was pretty sad (as in pathetic, not depressing) as well. Of course all they're going to focus on is the shooting, and if V-Tech has a shit performance... "Well, they're just so BURDENED and saddened in their hearts that's it's difficult to overcome these obstacles!".. or if V-Tech has a great performance.. "They triumphed against all odds!" Ugh. Also, the new polls are out. Goodbye, Michigan! AP Top 25 1. USC (59) 2. LSU (5) 3. West Virginia (1) 4. Florida 5. Oklahoma 5. Wisconsin 7. Texas 8. Louisville 9. Virginia Tech 10. California 11. MFer 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2007 I wonder where Michigan is ranked out of 119. I'd guess in the 26-35 range. Based on the "Others Receiving Votes" column, Michigan is T-32 (with South Carolina with 39 votes) in the AP poll and 27 (with 132 votes) in the USA Today poll. Guest Smues Report post Posted September 4, 2007 Washington got 1 vote in each poll, placing them at a tie for 40th in the AP and a tie for 41st in the coaches poll. That'll likely be all the votes UW gets all year, so I'll enjoy it for a week. Woo 40!
