Deep Purple

Well, back in 2000, after I graduated from High School, I was able to get my first Deep Purple album during the summer. That album was "Perfect Strangers". I also have several other Deep Purple albums in my collection. I also have some Deep Purple DVD's in my collection, as well.

 

 

 

 

 

Is anyone else a fan of Deep Purple?

I'm also a Deep Purple fan. I've always liked Blackmore's playing, and Ian Gillan is a great frontman.

"Hush" is my favorite song of theirs, though there are others ("Highway Star","Perfect Strangers", Speed King") All I have of the band is a best of album.

Is it true Blackmore is so messed up these days, he just plays on a whim except for Smoke on the Water, or is another classic rock station just making up some bullshit about the band.

Last I heard, Ritchie was playing with Blackmore's Night, which from what I heard, was very Renaissance-ish sounding.
