MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Bengals lost..hahahahahahahahahaha oh well
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 14 people out already with CIN/NO/CAR/STL losing
Sideburnious Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 15 including the guy who missed the deadline
Guest Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Just like I said, never pick a road team.
Hawkius Maximus Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 I'm rather proud that I survived week two. Both my picks have been crushing wins too, so yay!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Whoever had Seattle is out, and whoever had Denver might be in trouble.
Der Kommissar Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 Denver made it a bit of a nail biter, but it looks like I'm through to Week 3. Thanks Raiders!
BX Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Glad I picked the Jags. I think half the league was eliminated today.
BX Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Almost. 35 teams were in on Saturday. Tomorrow, only 19 teams will remain.
Hawk 34 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 I took the easy route with Dallas.
CanadianChris Posted September 17, 2007 Author Report Posted September 17, 2007 Wow, utter carnage. Glad I took the Bears.
Cuban Linx Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Making a last minute switch from the Bears to the Bengals sure worked out great.
HarleyQuinn Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Switching from a surefire winning Steelers to Panthers was such a fabulously smart move *bash*
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Wow, utter carnage. Glad I took the Bears. Ditto.
LaParkaMarka Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 There are no safe picks this week. I wonder how many people will try and pick Oakland/Cleveland, just to use up one of the bad teams.
CanadianChris Posted September 18, 2007 Author Report Posted September 18, 2007 Are you serious? There's one absolute no-brainer on there. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3/4 of the pool on the same game.
Hawk 34 Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I have to say that there are three lock games.
Guest Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 There's only one lock. And if people don't pick New England they have either already used them or they are on crack.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 There's only one lock. And if people don't pick New England they have either already used them or they are on crack. Baltimore and Pittsburgh are locks. The Broncos are close to being a lock too.
Guest Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Pittsburgh, Denver and Baltimore are still playing teams that have won games. The Patriots are playing the Bills.
Guest Vitamin X Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 The Bills have been known to upset New England. Sure Belichick's boys looked impressive the past couple weeks- the way the NFL goes, who knows if they'll get whooped at home all of a sudden to Buffalo. Not likely, but possible. I went with a much more subtle pick this week. I have a good feeling about it, and think it'll work for the best.
the pinjockey Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 If they were playing in Buffalo I would agree and probably avoid taking NE this week. But being in NE, I think they avoid that and stomp the Bills.
CanadianChris Posted September 19, 2007 Author Report Posted September 19, 2007 The Bills have been known to upset New England. Sure Belichick's boys looked impressive the past couple weeks- the way the NFL goes, who knows if they'll get whooped at home all of a sudden to Buffalo. Not likely, but possible. Tom Brady has never lost to the Bills in Foxboro in his career. Based on what I've seen, I wouldn't call Denver a lock against any team on their schedule besides Kansas City.
Hawkius Maximus Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I'm backing New England, for all the reasons listed. I can't in any way or form see the Patriots not smash the Bills into paste. We're talking a team that just HUMBLED the Chargers, against a team who have went 0-2, at the Patriot's home. No-brainer to me.
