Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2007 I've never had a thorough collection, but this makes me wish I had kept all my old systems and games. Even the Dreamcast that I had the worst luck with.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2007 I've had the master system stuff since childhood. I've got the NES and N64 stuff in the last year and a half or so

dubq 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2007 I've never had a thorough collection, but this makes me wish I had kept all my old systems and games. Even the Dreamcast that I had the worst luck with. I kinda felt the same way but I've only kept one system (pre-PS2 generation) - my SNES. My NES was long gone years ago and was unusable anyway, but the N64 which I just got rid of on ebay was really an underwhelming system for me. Almost as much as the Gamecube. I think I only had about 6 games for the N64 and less for the Cube. The SNES is where most of my fondest gaming memores took place which is why I'll never get rid of it or the games that I have for it.
Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2007 Thankfully most of what I had was common, so everything should be replaceable. I likely won't bother with NES stuff, but everything I had and more from SNES, Genesis, etc., on I'll get around to picking up again. I mainly regret Star Ocean 2 and everything Dreamcast including MvC 2. Now I keep everything I buy, but it also helps that I mostly go for cheap/discounted/used. dubq 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2007 This thread has caused me to waste several hours surfing old consoles and games on ebay. Some really good deals on there these days.
The Buzz 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2007 All this thread reminds me of is how stupid I was for selling all my old games to the flea market and Electronics Boutique.
Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2007 Part of me wishes games still came in cartridges and not CDs. CDs can scratch easily but those cartridges took a beating and still played.

luke-o 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 All of my collection is up in my sisters loft at the moment as I have no where else to put it. When I get my own place and set it all up, I'll resurect this thread.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 My collection rotates a lot because of buying/reselling and trading in games I beat but didn't like enough to keep. I'm hesitant to call it a "collection", more like "games I have right now." I'll try to get my digital camera working to at least get a few snapshots of what I got at the moment, though. I'd have to lay out all of my N64 stuff, due to having few boxes. I guess that's why the AVGN bitches about lack of end labels so much. YNA-- curious--how long you had the River City Ransom? Finding a cart of it in the wild has been nearly impossible. I want to see Anya's collection.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 I've had my River City for a year or so. Garage sales have bulked up my collection considerably. It seems to go for $15-$20 on Ebay.

AlexPuma 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2007 This is what I currently have in my house. My PS1 and PS2 games now all belong to my brother when he moved out. Also, not pictured: Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic Riders as a friend is borrowing them right now. I remember certain games for the N64 being horrible with memory card usage. Like Shadowman. I remember buying the game and realizing it took up a whole memory card by itself just for one save file. I returned the game the same day.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2007 That's far more modern Sonic games than you should ever admit to owning, Alex. Come on, Shadow?!

AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2007 Thumbs up on Slam Masters and Yoshi's Island. I also still dig Raw. Wrestlemania: TAG was a pretty awful port, though. Also, my digital camera really, really sucks.
