AntiLeaf33 Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 They ended up losing in a shootout, but still, that was one point that they sure did not deserve tonight. Hell of a game by Price to keep them in the game early.
CanadianGuitarist Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 I don't get the booing of Briere in Montreal tonight. A ten-million dollar salary is pretty tough to argue with. Oh well, looks like we're doin alright without him. 4-1 lead over the visiting Flyers with five to play, and we're outshooting them by about 20.
CanadianChris Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Senators had a 5-0 lead on Atlanta with about 13 minutes left, and ended up winning 6-4 on an empty-netter. That's probably the sloppiest period of hockey they've played all season.
AntiLeaf33 Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Another good game by the Habs. Good to see Kovalev is playing like he can, now Ryder on the other hand really seems to be fighting the puck over the last little while.
treble Posted November 2, 2007 Author Report Posted November 2, 2007 Thankfully it didn't really make a huge difference in the game (unless you want to argue about momentum), but that 'tripping' call against Briere was awful.
the max Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Bruins win 4-3 on a floater tipped in by Sturm in overtime. They led 2-0, gave up two, got one back, gave that back and then won in OT. Last season, they lose this game 6-2. Instead, they continue to forecheck in the third period(!) and grind out a win against a team that haunted them last season without Bergeron. This weekend will be very, very tough with the home and home against Ottawa and an slightly injured Fernandez being unavailable. The very thought of Jordan Sigalet starting against Ottawa scares me. Hopefully Fernandez watches where he's walking in practice and learns from this.

Zetterberg is God Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Being in the building to watch Henrik Zetterberg pot two tonight was a thing of beauty.
Guest Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Jack Johnson has arrived. He nearly separated Michalek's head from his shoulders. Not a headshot, so he hit him perfectly. Officials called charging, though.
Guest Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 The Kings are in first place. Oh my God.
