Same reason I've worked for the same so-so job for 5 years (not counting going up the corporate ladder into management):

 

I have to work SOMEWHERE, and by now goign to work somewhere else would throw everything I've established myself to be and starting from scratch on the ground floor.

 

I have to state my useless opinions somewhere and get feedback from other people, so it might as well be the same place I've been going since 2002. No need to start over from the bottom of senoirity on a new board. Plus on a new board, I haven't already won a tournament bracket to award me with the 4th best poster trophy.
