Kawalimus 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 billick is an idiot....when its 3rd and 15 he goes for the run...when its 3rd and 1 he goes for the pass? wtf? See, I keep saying this but then when I say Billick shouldn't have a job e veryone calls me dumb. He is horrible coach, one of the worst in the NFL. Possibly THE worst. I hope that Bisciotti understands what he needs to do and ether put pressure on Billick again or fire him.
Guest Gym Class Fallout Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Did Baldinger just say "I'm not Hubie Brown" coming out of a break? He's not. Hubie Brown is good at his job. He would probably know that Soldier Field is on Lake Michigan.

Ripper 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 I would like to thank keith brooking today for deciding that he plays for the Saints and springing Reggie Bush for a touchdown. Fucker.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Well they do look like a better team to play for than the Falcons right now.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 They are pretty much the same team now. The falcons lost by a touchdown with a two rookie offensive linemen (one of which was carted off) and a second year player playing out of position because of injuries. I felt pretty good about this game...until Kieth brooking tackled his own player to get reggie bush in the endzone.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 I didn't see the play but if that's true, that is really dumb of Brooking.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 21, 2007 See what I'm saying, guys? Minny's for real, Dallas is not. Up 14-7 in the 3rd. I really want to watch that game, but I'm stuck with Seattle-St. Louis. Wonderful.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Well Redskins barely win. Some horrible penalties called on the Skins today, plenty of poor play and decision making....ugly win. Next week: The Pats. Well yeah, it doesn't look good.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Yes Mike, because every tight game the Redskins are in this year are as a result of a horde of bad penalties from biased officials. Here's hoping they can beat New England next week, though.

Here's hoping they can beat New England next week, though. I didn't say they lost because of the calls. The Redskins played a horrible game on offense, which had nothing to do with the refs. Their defense did get hosed horribly on one of AZ's TD drives though.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 I know this has been asked before, but um, why the fuck does anyone not named Marion Barber run the ball for Dallas?

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Here's hoping they can beat New England next week, though. Why don't we just hope for a winning lottery ticket while we're at it? Washington has a hell of a good defense, and if their offense can challenge New England's defense at all, then maybe they would have a shot. Tougher on the road, but still. So much for Minnesota getting in this game. It wasn't quite the squashing others predicted, I'll give them that much. Having to deal with Adrian Peterson in the NFC North for at least the next few years is going to suck, though.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Well we've had to deal with Barry Sanders for years, so this is par for course.
Guest Gym Class Fallout Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Or till he's injured. I can't get too excited about this Bears win because we're still fucked for the year, but hey, that was pretty cool, I guess.

Guest Gym Class Fallout Report post Posted October 21, 2007 You think you've got it bad, look at us! This whole "Super Bowl hangover" thing is ridiculous, and I hate that it's a function of this league. It looks bad when contenders have to go back to the end of the line, so to speak. the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 I am trying to figure out what the hell McNabb was trying to do on the last play. Either go deep or put the ball in Westbrook's hands and let him try for a miracle. Throwing an 8 yard crossing route to a covered Reggie Brown is indicitive of the piss poor decision making of McNabb. I am really getting to the point of saying just send him to the Bears now and let's move on as this is not a championship (or even .500 right now) caliber team. NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Washington has a good defense, but their offense needs to find a way to make some plays despite having only one starter currently playing on the line. I believe two starters will be returning to the lineup next week but that is not a sure thing. I think Washington's defense can give the Pats offense some fits early, but Washington also has to produce some long drives that keep the Brady and Co. off the field for extended amounts of time. I am not worried about the defense, but I am worried that the offense will be so ineffective that the defense is gassed by the halftime.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Get Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb the fuck out of Philadelphia. Reid having some semblance of time management with less than 3 minutes (GOTTA PASS, PASS, PASS! TIMEOUT!) and McNabb not overthrowing open receivers in the end zone could have helped avoid this. I appreciate all the happy memories these guys brought to Philly this decade but their time is up and it's time to go in a different direction.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 22, 2007 Well we've had to deal with Barry Sanders for years, so this is par for course. Yeah, but Peterson is on a team that could eventually turn into a real threat. Not that the Lions aren't, but none of Sanders' teams were anything but Barry and Co.. You think you've got it bad, look at us! This whole "Super Bowl hangover" thing is ridiculous, and I hate that it's a function of this league. It looks bad when contenders have to go back to the end of the line, so to speak. And you thought I was ridiculous for suggesting it would happen to the Bears because the Seahawks made it to the NFC Championship last year. But I wouldn't worry yet since 3-4 is still not out of it yet.
