Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 17, 2007 Oh god, this is awful. The one time I rely on Ohio State to choke, and they disappoint me. Not even Duke is making me happy right now. And what the hell happened to Miss. St. in the 2nd? awful week in college football for me so far. Much like Oregon, so much for my BCS hopes.

Bored 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 1. Head-to-Head -You beat VX, VX beat Edwin, Edwin beat you, so it's a wash. 2. Overall Record -VX is 9-3, you and Edwin are 8-4 so VX qualifies. Then it goes back to head-to-head where Edwin beats you.

Bored 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 The regular season is over but the race for the Bored Bowl certainly isn't. Obviously Cuban Linx is still #1 and controls his own destiny. On the other hand we have an incredibly close race for #2 as teke184, despite losing, hangs on to the spot by the closest of margins. Mecca was the big winner of the week and just misses out on grabbing the #2 spot. Not too far behind them is AboveAverage484 but because he does not play in his championship game, it will be very difficult for him to jump both teke and Mecca but I suppose anything is possible. teke also doesn't play in his championship game so he'll be rooting for Secret Agent the next two weeks to upset Mecca. Edwin MacPhisto is at #5 and will need help to get to #2 but I wouldn't rule him out. And no do not ask me to go over possible scenarios. Bowl picture follows the rankings. Bored Championship Series Rankings thru Week 12 1. South Carolina - Cuban Linx 3.25 2. LSU - teke184 3.9 3. Nebraska - Mecca 3.95 4. N.C. State - AboveAverage484 4.25 5. Virginia - Edwin MacPhisto 4.95 6. Florida State - King 7.0 7. Stanford - Bored 7.25 8. Rutgers - the pinjockey 8.25 9. Texas - UTBroward 8.45 10. Boise State - Vitamin X 8.55 Other Receiving Votes: Kent State (JHawk), Miami of Ohio (Hawk 34), Syracuse (CanadianChris), UCLA (phoenixrising) Bowl Picture (Edited because I can't count) We have 16 teams (not counting Hawaii) who have seven wins or more but have 17 of 18 bids locked up. Every conference has three designated bids and the Pac-8 only has two teams with 7+ wins so UZI Suicide (Arizona) will get their 3rd bid over the walkin' dude (San Diego State) by having the better conference record. That leaves two open spots left with Secret Agent (Oklahoma) in the unenviable position of having to win his conference championship game to lock up a spot and holding the fate of another team in his hands. The final one or two spots will be determined based on BCS rankings. Okay here it is: Secret Agent wins, he's in. If he loses, someone else is. Locked In Arizona Boise State Florida State Kent State LSU Miami of Ohio Michigan N.C. State Nebraska Rutgers South Carolina Stanford Syracuse Texas UCLA UTEP Virginia Must Win Oklahoma Rooting Against Secret Agent Ball State Buffalo Georgia Tech San Diego State USC
