Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 Well Mizzou is handing their game away to Oklahoma on that pickoff. The Okies are now on the Mizzou 5.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 The Big East certainly doesn't want Pitt to win. OU just scored again. Looks like #1 is going down.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 Maybe not the NCAA, but at the very least the Big East doesn't want their meal ticket going down to Pitt.
Jaxxson Mayhem 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 White almost cost WVU the game. Still, it's gonna be 4th and long.

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 So, Ohio State is in for sure. Does LSU or Va Tech join them over Georgia?
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 I want to see #1 and #2 lose. It's the kind of year it's been. I really don't see Georgia getting to the Championship game if both lose.
Bored 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 Since someone will ask pretty soon, the BCS Selection Show tomorrow is at 8:00 PM EST/5:00 PM PST on Fox. I would love it if Virginia Tech got in over LSU. That would blow the 2001 and 2003 fiascos out of the water.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 I still say Florida is the best team in the nation right now. All I know is that the best teams are not the ones probably going to the title game.
Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 I think if Mizzou loses you have to put LSU in the title game with OSU. They demolished the Hokies 48-7 earlier this year so you can't really justify putting VT in the title game ahead of them. Also, Kansas and Georgia didn't play their conference title games so I just don't want to see a team get into the national title game through that route. Plus, both of LSU's losses occurred in 3 OT's this year. Hell, I say if Hawaii wins tonight just throw them in the damn title game. It's been that kind of year anyway and if they get in then we can preserve the illusion that a two loss team won't be playing for the national title.
Jaxxson Mayhem 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 I REALLY fucking hope this finally creates a playoff system. This is such a fucking mess.
Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 Well if this doesn't lead towards the creation of a playoff system I don't know what else would. It's pretty funny, though, that a two loss team could end up at national champions while Hawaii could end up undefeated and not even play for the title. Yea, I know their strength of schedule wasn't that great and they struggled against San Jose State but they've played their schedule and haven't lost. The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 This is the 4th time or so I've heard someone say this is the biggest nightmare for the BCS in those 10 years
Bored 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 Other potential big winner tonight is Illinois as they will move into the Top 14 with the BC and Tennessee losses and now could be Ohio State's replacement in the Rose Bowl. That would also bump Michigan from the Champs Sports to the Capital One Bowl.

Jaxxson Mayhem 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 I would be ok with a team with a weak schedule getting to a title team if someone picked the schedule for them. BUT, they make their own schedule, so i have no pity for them.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 So unless the Tigers rally, it's going to either be a two loss Georgia, a two loss LSU or a one loss Va Tech from the ACC which looked like a steaming pile of crap all year long? Not Kansas though, they don't have a name so we can cross them off the list. And the Rose Bowl match-up of Ohio State against USC just went up in smoke as well. Thanks alot for choking West Va.
