Ripper Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 You might want to spend a couple of hundred dollars more to get a laptop with a dedicated video card if you want to game on it. Or hit up the Dell outlet. You should be able to get one at that price. But dedicated card is the way to go.
Yuna_Firerose Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 Already got one -points to sig- Yeah, 8400 ain't the best, or so the Notebookreview forums keep telling me - but it'll do for now.
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 Ok, after seeing your specs, I feel like my computer shouldn't even be able to run the Internet its that outdated.
Yuna_Firerose Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 Oh, wow, that good? ^^;; I do plan to upgrade to 2gb ram, from Newegg, after Xmas--upgrading w/Dell was just way too expensive. Maybe somewhere down the road to the 8600 as well. But, I'll be elated just to play Vampire: Bloodlines, at highest settings, on my own computer.

Make sure to get the fan-patch that lets you play Bloodlines with a normal resolution. I think the default is 800x600...that's no good.
