Anyone know what the budget for Hitman was? I wouldn't think it would be all that high, so the $35+ million it's taken in should probably be considered a fairly decent success so far.

This saddens me to no end. The trailer for this abortion even looks bad. Why do I have a feeling this could potentially climb to #1 closer to Christmas? Has there ever been a movie to do that (be around number 6 or so for several weeks, and eventually climb to #1?)?

I'm sure there's been some movie thats climbed to #1- There's Something About Mary comes to mind. Looked it up, Something About Mary opened at #4 and became #1 Labour Day Weekend.

 

With I Am Legend and National Treasure coming out before XMas, it won't hit #1.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding is the highest grossing movie to never hit #1.

Noelle is a Christmas movie that was released by 8X Entertainment. It's a Christian movie, and it was released in the markets that helped make One Night With the King a modest success.

Strength and Honor is an Irish sports drama distributed by Slowhand Releasing, which is an indie company that has been on the sub-$1,000 PSA list before. Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones is a great cast though. It's an inspirational bare knuckle boxing movie, not a gangster movie sadly.

I read a few reviews of Strength and Honor. None of them were that good but it still may be a borderline rental for me since I'm a fan of Madsen and Vinnie Jones and it's not too often that they get leads in movies.
