Any other suggestions are welcome.
CanadianGuitarist Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 It brings Marvin back down to the rest of us, I bet. On the other hand, I had intended on taking a bunch of old golfers no one ever heard of in '09. I shouldn't be the biggest victim of a death pool.
Youth N Asia Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 got my hopes up with the Perry Saturn may be missing thread...but looks like nothing will come of that
Youth N Asia Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I think we should maybe define celebrity, since that's what these lists are anyway. Oldest living billionaire and such...c'mon
BX Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Does anyone get points for EHME's dead best friend?
Youth N Asia Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 oh I get it...that was comedy right?
Silence Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 oh I get it...that was comedy right? Seriously, I'm tired of lesser-known people being qualified for the Death Pool while I have no fucking points yet.
Twisted Intestine Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 George Carlin and Bernie Mac are the only celebrities who have died this year in my book!
RepoMan Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 I'm glad I didn't hear about the Miley Cyrus rumors until they got debunked. Still being shut out
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 George Carlin and Bernie Mac are the only celebrities who have died this year in my book! January 22nd seems so long ago..
Youth N Asia Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Did any active wrestlers bite the dust this year?
treble Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Ted Rogers? I had the wrong AL East owner.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Ted Rogers? I had the wrong AL East owner. Angelos is never going to die.
Red Baron Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Ted Rogers? I had the wrong AL East owner. No, but my service fees and all other access fees will help pay for his funeral.
CanadianGuitarist Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 I'm looking forward to what could become the world's biggest sideshow Sunday. The death of Rogers will mean a prolonged ceremony to what will likely be a predominantly American crowd, many of whow likely won't know who he is. Couple that with no tailgating and a Dolphins victory - this could be quite the trainwreck.
King Kamala Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Willing to bet that nobody had former WWE Developmental talent Steve Bradley.
Silence Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Willing to bet that nobody had former WWE Developmental talent Steve Bradley.
Youth N Asia Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 Apparently Bettie Page had a heart attack and is in a coma
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Apparently Bettie Page had a heart attack and is in a coma Well I bet she's on everyones list for 2009 should she hold on for 20 days or so. Isnt it about time to be starting the 2009 lists? Ive already got about 50 that I need to consider for 2009 but some might not count if new rules are implemented.
Youth N Asia Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Probably cause you pick non celebs
the max Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 It's purely subjective, but people who count as celebrities should be someone you can easily recognize with a google or imdb search. Like, say an actor dies, someone should recognize him/her from being in something. Not just "oh, that dude's the world's oldest car mechanic" and getting points because you did some stupid research. Some of those dudes Marvin got points on were no more famous than me.
RepoMan Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Apparently Bettie Page had a heart attack and is in a coma Well I bet she's on everyones list for 2009 should she hold on for 20 days or so. I bet she's on everyone's list and lives for another five years in a coma. No reason that Ariel Sharon or Fidel Castro should still be alive.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Probably cause you pick non celebs I had Harvey Korman!
CanadianChris Posted December 18, 2008 Author Report Posted December 18, 2008 No one had Sammy Baugh. Shocking.
CanadianGuitarist Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 No one had Sammy Baugh. Shocking. That is surprising. Ninety-four!
Youth N Asia Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 Looks like no one had Eartha Kitt
