MrRant Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 As a Giants fan it's practically treason to root for the Redskins but I really wanted them to win this game. When they missed the field goal I thought it was a minor hiccup but as it turns out that was the beginning of the end. I think the Giants will beat Dallas and take out Green Bay as well. You still have to get through TB first.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Pittsburgh doesn't believe in defense.
RonL21 Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Just Over 5 minutes in and we have a good one
Kahran Ramsus Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 This is the game I am really interested in this weekend.
Brett Favre Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Damn. At this pace the Jaguar drive will end like around the two minute warning.
Exslade ZX Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Wow, the "monkeys in the back" are pretty damn quick. They had that Steelers deflection clip up and running, just a few seconds after it as mentioned/happened..
RonL21 Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 At this rate.. The Jags offense is gonna be well rested for next since they've barely had to put in work so far..
Jericholic82 Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 I so want the giants to win more than ever, so they get one last crack at Dallas (I freakin hate Dallas Im sorry its in my genes passed down from my grandpa ) . I dont know if they will though with 3 guys out this week, plus no shockey. Come on G-men. One comment though, Kerry Collins got really old lately I guess. I didnt even recognize him. And to think we got to the superbowl with him as QB.
The Niggardly King Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Man, as long as the Jags hold up their end, by beating the Steelers and Pats, and the Chargers can get past the Titans, and the Packers don't make the Super Bowl... the Chargers are going to win the Super Bowl... please let it happen.
RonL21 Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Whoever the Jags play next week are gonna be in for a fight... Pittsburgh is just beyond demoralized
Slayer Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Shit This is reminiscent of the game against Cleveland in 02
KingPK Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 (edited) Ouch. Stupid challenge there by Del Rio. I swear, the Jaguars are the biggest cockteasers in the NFL. EDIT: Gutsy, GUTSY fucking 4th down call. Gerrard has grapefruits. Edited January 6, 2008 by KingPK
strummer Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 That was a ridiculous challenge by Del Rio. You lose your last time out and it was on a 1st down play. And now the Jags in position to win regardless
RonL21 Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 There you go Garrard.. Fuck this is great
Conspiracy_Victim Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Ouch. Stupid challenge there by Del Rio. I swear, the Jaguars are the biggest cockteasers in the NFL. Eh, they were going to have to call a timeout anyway since the play clock was nearly done, and once they hit 2 minutes reviews would be up to the refs, so I guess Del Rio firgured he might as well and they might get lucky. That play took some balls. Garrard is athletic, but Pittsburgh was pretty stacked up in the middle. That could have easily been jammed up for no gain.
strummer Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Madden doesn't think the Jags should play for a field goal. Idiot.
Brett Favre Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Two very good games today. I kinda agree with Madden.
RonL21 Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 They coulda put Matt Jones and tried a little fade or something Garrard has earned a few more stripes tonight.. I hope the Country was watching
MFer Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Madden doesn't think the Jags should play for a field goal. Idiot. Tony Romo disagrees with you.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 game over worthlessburger sacked and fumbled haha
KingPK Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 That was anticlimatic. So they're going to Foxboro unless the Titans pull off the upset.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Well, as a Texans fan I guess I'm glad the Jags won (it makes sense in my head anyway, kind of a "divison pride" thing). I can't in good conscience root for the Titans though.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Pittsburgh just can't win playoff games at home.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 I can go to bed really happy tonight (Redskins bandwagon crashed, Steelers got beat) YAY!
Brett Favre Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Pittsburgh just can't win playoff games at home. Doug Brien says hello.
cabbageboy Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 The play I am now thinking about was that hideous Pittsburgh 3rd and 6 call. What the fuck was THAT? It was like they were trying some ultra safe QB run to just move into position for a FG, that's what it looked like. Why not be a bit gutsy and throw it 6 yards to Hines Ward, or at least run with the actual RB and try picking it up? It doesn't really matter much though, since I don't see either of today's winners doing much next week. Unless Tennessee upsets SD the Jags get maimed by the Patriots anyway, and Seattle isn't worth a crap on the road so the Packers will beat them pretty easy.

Kinetic Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 I'd like to think Jacksonville at least has a fighting chance against New England. What's the seven-day forecast looking like for the Boston area? Any monumental blizzards on the radar?
