NoCalMike Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 Is it me or do fans overreact to getting the ball first just a bit? If it is over-time then yes it means a big deal, but on the opening kickoff, it kind of just puts more pressure on your team to score on the opening drive or it is a wasted oppurtunity. It seems like there are a bunch of games where the team getting the ball first at the start of the third quarter is bigger.
RepoMan Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 It looks like the commercials will continue to suck balls this year.
Guest Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 I think it's also one of those things where it gives people a chance to let out some excitement before a game they're really looking forward to watching.
Guest Blue Man Czech Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 You know...what NFL team isn't built on team work? I don't get it. What makes New England more team worky? Stop hating, hater
Mik Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 It looks like the commercials will continue to suck balls this year. Â Wrong. I've already been entertained three times.
Ripper Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 well, that commercial was pretty racist.
RepoMan Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 well, that commercial was pretty racist. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought so.
RepoMan Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 The Pats mascot is gayer than Steely McBeam. What happened to the guys w/ muskets?
Guest Blue Man Czech Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Convenient subjective call there to put them at the 1. Â What racist commercial? Missed it.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Y'know, all the talk of gooning Brady has been pretty silly all season, but now's the time to do it, if there ever is one. Â It's inevitable that New England will score, so why not just blindside the fucker, even if it's after the play? One fifteen yard penalty and an ejected player, some fines..big deal.
RepoMan Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Convenient subjective call there to put them at the 1. What racist commercial? Missed it.  The one for Job Genie(?) w/ the Indian guy. Â
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Convenient? Nah, that was a good call that pissed me off.
RepoMan Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy. Is it 1996?
Guest Blue Man Czech Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Oh, that? Yeah, that was definitely borderline. I caught that. Â oh bullshit, he was down by contact
Guest Vitamin X Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Yeah, I want to see the Pats roll up the score in this one. And then just go away.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 HahaWOW, what a catch. Â See that block from Jacobs? Guy is an ox.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Procedure call in the red zone. Fucking retards.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 How the fuck can you make it to the Superbowl, and then get hit with procedure calls in the red zone, and tip balls to a DB? Â I'd fine everybody on the offense a thousand dollars for a delay of game call.
Guest Blue Man Czech Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Joe Buck just got more excited about Brady handing off to Maroney than he did when the White Sox won the World Series. HAND OFF TO MARONEY!!! awful.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Important stop. Â For those expecting more Buck Facts, you'll see them at halftime, and if this game gets out of reach, or if he says something truly absurd.
Guest Blue Man Czech Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I'm only here for the Buck Facts tonight. Â Spoon called me today and wanted me to tell you that "Gene's Buck Facts make me laugh my ass off." Then it crashed his phone. Or he laughed and dropped his phone. I don't know. Something with a phone.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I'll work in a couple more for Patrick. If this is another turnover, we'll see.
RepoMan Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I don't get why NE didn't challange that.
