Booking wrestlers for events

A friend of mine works at a sports store and he wants to get some prices on how much wrestlers in the industry charge for a 1 to 2 hour autograph session? I figured some of you guys on here might know before I go start calling their agents. List anybody's prices that you know.

I remember reading on here a while back that someone booked Greg Valentine for a backyard gig and he charged $750 plus expenses.

What would be the point of brining in a guy like Valentine for a backyard show?

 

I bet if you e-mailed Meltzer, he would post some links to the various booking contacts for a lot of "known" wrestlers.

It wasn't a backyard fed, it's a real fed that happened to hold one of their shows in a yard. They run here in Michigan usually in a local armory around Detroit.

 

 

I'd say 1500 dollars is a pretty good price for a guy who's been in four of the major promotions of the last 15 years, and held the World title in two of them.
