Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2008 Phoenix is made up of Steve Nash and a bunch of fuck faces. How the hell does Nash not take the last shot in the 4th and in the first OT? And Amare is another retard by getting that charge. Exactly, Nash is your big shot guy as evidenced by that crazy 3-pointer he hit at the end of the 2nd OT. What a game. I feel bad for the Suns because I like Nash so much and because well, this is what usually happens to them. They always run into something in the playoffs. Word. Guest Teal-y Dan Report post Posted April 19, 2008 The Suns "always run into something" because they're no damn good. They lose to superior teams. It's what they do.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 I missed the Suns/Spurs game, but got to see the shit-astic Wizards/Cavs game where no one could hit a shot in the 4th. Life is unfair sometimes.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 I wanted the Suns to win, but damn... that Suns/Spurs game was the best I've seen in a while. Tim Duncan was clutch as FUCK.
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 The Suns "always run into something" because they're no damn good. They lose to superior teams. It's what they do. First year JJ got hurt, next year Amare was hurt, and last year Amare got suspended for that game 6. They've had bad luck in the past.
Guest Teal-y Dan Report post Posted April 20, 2008 At what point do these occurrences stop being bad luck and start being symptomatic of bad management and coaching? Don't worry, I follow the team that wrote the book on that principle.

Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 I am happy alot of people will get to see Chris Paul now. I think alot of people saying that Kobe is unarguably the MVP just didn't see the kid enough. You might still think Kobe is the MVP, but goddammit, its plenty arguable.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Now Dirk should be suspended for that. He obviously swung and hit him in face.

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Cleveland in 6 - Cleveland really has been lucky here the last two years. If the players are allowed to decide this series, then I still think Washington has the better team here. But, fat chance of that happening with LeBron James. Looks like I nailed this one so far. Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Did Jalen Rose just compare Tim Duncan's game tonight to child abuse?
Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Alright, seriously, outside of a traveling call here or there, where are these Lebron games where he gets all these calls. The players did decide todays game and Lebron shoved it down the Wizards throats in the crunch. Its not a Miami Wades situation out there.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 The Cavs shot 37 free throws to just 17 for the Wizards. In a game as physical as this one was, that sort of discrepancy is absurd. LeBron alone only took three less than the entire Wizards team.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 The Wizards shoot more jumpers. Mostly because they can. The cavs go to the paint more because...well... no one on their team can really shoot worth a shit.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 The Wizards shoot more jumpers. Mostly because they can. The cavs go to the paint more because...well... no one on their team can really shoot worth a shit. Wasn't that the excuse for why their was such a discrepancy between Wade and the Mavericks? It's the star system. If you're a star in the NBA drive to the basket and you will get fouled. That's why Lebron drives so much, he knows more often than not he will get called. Plus Agent Zero couldn't buy one at the end.

That's why Lebron drives so much, he knows more often than not he will get called. Plus Agent Zero couldn't buy one at the end. The difference is that you could actually point to "fouls" that weren't actually fouls in that Wade/Mavs series. Point to the instance Lebron went to the line and didn't actually get fouled today? I have watched 3 of the best officiated games in a long time today, lets not just diminish it because Lebron basically drives the ball every time he touches it. And no, gilbert didn't get calls down the stretch. But this would be ignoring the fact that there were no calls on the other end either during the biggest plays of the game. The refs let the players play the games and the players decided them today, simple as that.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Lebron is such a freak athletically, with his size, strength and quickness, not to mention his basketball IQ, he draws so many fouls because once he gets a step toward the lane there's no other way to stop him. Wade was committing what were either blatant offensive fouls or just non-call situations with his pull up jump shots and getting it called the other way. He would drive the ball, initiate the contact with his body or push off with his off-hand, then step back into a jumper and get the continuation call. He got legit fouled going to the hoop too, but it was those borderline offensive foul but called on the defense plays that everyone was up in arms over. There's no comparison between that and LeBron, haters just love to hate.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 I just hate getting told he's the greatest player ever everytime I turn on the TV. I also hate how they're not called the Cavs but "Lebron and the Cavs" or simply "Lebron". Hell just call them his gang of idiots and it'd be about the same. I still think the Wiz take the series but it'll take them 7 probably. Or maybe not, all the trash talking may not have been smart. Then again the media is blowing it way out of proportion. Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 He's a superstar player and he's incredibly good, and they are largely his gang of idiots. After the big midseason trade, he ended up with some different idiots. What else needs to be said? Orlando pouring on the points in the first quarter here. Only a couple from Dwight Howard, but he just logged his 3rd block after just 9 minutes. Seeing him smack something 20 feet is one of the small pleasures of today's NBA. Edit: 9 first quarter 3s! Ridonkulous.

I don't think someone who roots for the Celtics gets to complain about media hype this year. At least they hype up the team or the big 3 as opposed to telling me how one guy is better than the rest of the league. Plus the Celtics are actually a legit threat this year(the cavs are not) and they haven't been good in like forever so it's good to see them back. Anyway, the Magic are kicking some ass here. I didn't realize they were that good. Turkoglu is pretty good.
