He started with the Colts and had one season with the Packers, before beginning his most well known tenure with the Raiders. He also holds the record for most safeties by an individual player in his career (tied with Doug English of the Lions), proving the dude was a playmaker. Due to being so huge and athletic, he was incredibly difficult to pass against, and is also the career leader of blocked FG's, with 25 over the course of his career. He also played in 215 straight regular season games, making him quite durable as well. Between Hendricks and Woodson playing on my defense, it's a fucking turnover machine. Let me explain that statement: Does it occur to anyone else that WR isn't very often a historically compared position? With QBs, there's always comparisons and all heaps of discussion about who's the best ever. With WR, it's Rice and a bunch of other guys. No one ever thinks "Boy, this guy reminds me a lot of Steve Largent!" Either way, on the opposite side of Hutson, that's the best tandem yet that will get smothered and picked apart by my secondary. He's starting to slow down a bit with age, but at his peak he was arguably the best player in the NFL and perhaps the biggest part of Seattle's success this decade, including a record setting season by Shaun Alexander in 2005.
