Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2008 I'm going to bed at 11, so I probably am not the best bet. I figured that we may start seeing some coaches soon. Unlike other sports a good head coach is often vital in football. I just think there are too many of them to justify passing on a player you feel you must have. But we are getting to the point where we are getting past the must have players and it is better to get a top of the line coach than reach for a player you don't really want. Since I have a LB and a DB, I figured I'd go DL with this pick, and I've settled on... John Randle - DT 7x Pro Bowl 7x All Pro 90's All Decade Team 137.5 career sacks (T - 5th all time) Watch out, VX, my guy's comin' for ya. Just what I need on my defense. A big nasty motherfucker that'll get some sacks, strips, and heckle the oppostion. Safe to say my defense shouldn't have much trouble pressuring opposing QBs so far. He'll tip a lot of balls, too. Considering I have four of the best hands in NFL history in my secondary, that's a big factor. He also played a bit of DT, and I'm all about some versatility. That's an average of 3 a season and given his longevity and skill even when old, he'll be a force regardless. Absolutely dominant, very consistent and could block anybody. and Franco Harris, RB - 9x Pro Bowl - 7x All-Pro - 1970's All-Decade team - Super Bowl IX MVP - A member of the 10,000 yd rushing club - I need some form of offense and RB's are going much quicker than WR's so I have to grab an elite one. It doesn't get much more elite than Harris. A perfect combination back who could run for power as well as for speed. This guy is a sack artist, and a terrifying football player at 6'4" 272 pounds. I now have Ray Lewis and Shawne Merriman playing LB for me...
