Dawson has a lot of experience blocking for power runners, and he'll also be useful for blocking out all these big-time DT's.

Davis was also known as a leader for the 60's Packers vaunted defense and was reliable and tough enough to earn the respect of his teammates. If they counted sacks back in the 60's, he would hold the record for sacks, as he reportedly had 25 one season and averaged in the teens for sacks throughout his playing years. It's to the point where Davis is actually regarded as the best defensive end in Packers' history- and that includes a guy named Reggie White. Personally, I'm glad he just fell all the way down to where I was picking; I'd been targetting him for the past few rounds and was watching the trends of the draft to see if the guys who I see taking more old-school players were going to take a chance on him or not, and I think I took him just in time right now.

Marion Motley 1-time Pro Bowler (1950) 3-time 1st Team All-Pro (1946, 1948, 1950) NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team NFL 1940s All-Decade Team #32 on The Sporting News list of 100 greatest football players. Yes, the original fullback of the modern era. In fact, Paul Brown said he was the greatest fullback to ever play the game (including Jim Brown). Some people even call Motley the greatest player ever. More importantly, he was one of the first African-American players of the modern era. Motley was a beast of a runner, averaging 5.7 YPC for his career. He was an outstanding blocker, especially in pass protection. Motley was also a great linebacker (although I won't have him there for this draft). Even though the position of fullback has changed over the years, I have no doubt that Motley can succeed as a lead blocker for Gale Sayers. I can also line him up in a one-back formation and hand him the ball.

WR Sterling Sharpe The Glory - 5x Pro Bowl - 5x All Pro - Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame - In the 1993 season Sharpe subsequently broke his own record, with 112 receptions; this also made him the first player to have consecutive seasons catching more than 100 passes. In 1994, his 18 touchdown receptions were the second most in league history at the time, behind only Jerry Rice's 22 in 1987. The Stats - 8,134 yards receiving - 65 TD - 73 RYPG - 4 seasons with at least 11 TD - 4 seasons with at least 90 catches - Only played 7 seasons. At least 5 more seasons of 1,000 yards would've had him at 13,000+ career yards. Played in the run & shoot at South Carolina and in the NFL was a flat out beast. He easily could've been among Jerry Rice/Tim Brown territory in overall stats when all was said and done. Gives me great size at 6'0" 207 lbs. to balance out the other two burners in Warfield and Maynard. He also really helped make Brett Favre into a superstar (33 TD in 1994).
