Cran Da Maniac 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2008 Yeah, I know it's not as good as some of the other games in the series. But I've played this more over the last two years than any other game during that time. I do like it quite a bit. And looking back, that's what he has on the post. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2008 Oh, I just assumed it was a port of the same game. Otherwise I would have picked it ages ago. Carry on.
luke-o 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2008 My next pick: Donkey Kong (Game Boy, 1994) A great puzzle game that has kept me entertained for many, many years.
BUTT 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2008 YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU I was going to pick that! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Why this version and not the arcade? Well, I didn't even play the arcade version until '95, by which point it had been out for like six years. It doesn't hold any special memories for me. But the NES version does, because my brother and I used to rent it all the time. And it has an extra level and awesome Pizza Hut ads which got it featured on the HBO special "Buy Me That Too." Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2008 I hate DDR, but that's a great pick up And while games like TMNT 2 and Smash Brothers are great I dunno if they'd hold up since you're only doing one player mode
foleyfanforever88 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2008 I'm going to take Polarium - DS and Pikmin - Gamecube so that I can catch up with everyone else. EDIT: Damn, not including the word "New" on the front page for Separate Ways' Super Mario Bros. pick probably fucked over a lot of people..I mean, it says DS but doing a quick scan I didn't see it and was about to pick New Super Mario Bros. myself. Dr. Zoidberg 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 No time for a pic!@~ WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2006
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 DDR was taken already by Jer in round 9. Although there are so many versions you could probably argue for it being a different game somehow, I'm sure. I'm going with: Elevator Action (Arcade) Incidentally, every game on my list without a platform listed is an arcade game.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2008 Buy Me That Too YES~! I thought I was the only person that remembered that series.

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2008 The Simpsons: Bart vs the World (NES, 1991) The Simpsons platformers have always been shit on, but I've always liked this game.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2008 I was going to hold off on the SMS games, but after Kidd got taken I can't pass on WONDERBOY IN MONSTER LAND Maybe the best graphics ever for an 8 bit game pic coming soon
Jer 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2008 Final Fantasy - Origins Remake (PS1, 2002) FF1 got me into RPGs, and I've spent more hours playing it than any other RPG. And while I'm nostalgic for ineffective attacks and 10 minute potion buying sessions, the remake for the Origins collection is a great improvement. And for the record, the best party, unquestionably, is Fighter, Fighter, Black Belt, Red Mage.
The Man in Blak 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2008 Since foleyfan yielded his turns earlier in the draft due to indifference, I'll go ahead and pick mine now: Gears of War (Xbox 360)

The Man in Blak 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2008 Since Gert T officially went on the clock 12 hours ago (1:46 am CT), I'll go ahead and make my pick: Dungeons & Dragons: Shadows Over Mystara (Arcade) I need a beat 'em up on my list, so why not include one with diverse characters, RPG elements, and multiple paths through the game (with multiple endings)? foleyfanforever88 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2008 I think I have two picks, so I'll take Tetris DS - Nintendo DS (if it's a legit pick) and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat - Gamecube
