Alright, so Jebus asked if anyone wanted to do a TV DID, so why not?

 

I am going to follow the same rules as he did, just to make things easier. However, instead of 20 picks, we are going to do 15.

 

Rules:

- Serpentine draft rules (I figure 15 rounds is enough)

- 12 hour timetable to make your pick. If it expires, the next person on tap can make his selection. If you've missed your turn to pick, you may do it at any time once you come back.

- Please PM the person who goes next and let them know it's their turn.

 

Please include a pic (preferably a TV poster) and a brief explanation of why you chose that particular show.

In the end, TSMers can vote for who ended up with the best overall collection.

 

So far, I can't think of anything that would be ineligible. Other than that, it should all be good.

Alright, no more. We are going to go in order of people coming into the draft. And you can pick ANY TV show. Primetime, soap opera, news show, you name it. I am first, so here we go:

If I am going to be stuck on an island, I'll want to laugh right away. It was either between this, or the Office. I figured I might be a little lonely, so it would be nice to see some naked chicks every now and then. I love everything about this show. I don't think there was one episode I didn't like and everyone from E to Ari is Gold (pun intended). The storylines are great, the acting is great, and the funny is great.

I can never decide what my favourite show ever is, but if I was forced to decide, this would probably be it. Even toward the end, Cheers was funnier than most shows on TV. Cheers is also one of the very few shows that could plug in new actors (Woody Harrelson, Kelsey Grammer, Kirstie Alley, Bebe Neuwirth) and actually get funnier each time. And it ran for 11 seasons, so I'll have a ton to watch.

Eh, I knew Cheers wouldn't make it to me, but that would've been my number one overall. Great show and long enough run to keep you entertained for a long time.

 

The Kevin McHale Episodes are still my favorites.

 

My only disagreement with you would be getting funnier with each new actor plugged in. The Coach episodes were the best of the show (Woody was funny, but Coach just killed).
