What's on your Netflix queue?

Recommended Posts

I just recently finished up Spinal Tap and The Simpsons S10D1. I have the rest of S10 in the queue, as well as Venture Brothers S2, Semi-Pro, Out Cold, and Zach Galifianakis: Live. I figure I might as well give Semi-Pro a shot, and I'm on a Zach G binge right now.

I like this idea. Anyways, I have Dreams on Spec ( a documentary about screenwriting) up next and Homicide: Life on Street Season Five and behind that I've got a couple more documentaries (Salesman, Mayor of The Sunset Strip) and some 70s movies (Two Lane Blacktop, Pulp,The Watermelon Man). I've got 110 items in my queue so obviously don't want to list the whole thing but it's a lot of documentaries and TV serieses with smattering of independent films, older films I haven't seen, and wrestling DVDs.

I just sent back 21, Iron Monkey and the second disc of the fourth season of Newsradio. I have Crime Story, the third disc of Newsradio and Casino coming next. After that, it's mostly TV shows; I have the first three seasons of House since everyone's always raving about that show and I want to get into it from the beginning. There's 116 items total, so there's a bunch of crap there.

I currently have The Way of the Gun, the second disc of the first season of Dexter, and the first disc of Freaks and Geeks out. I'm sort of a patternwhore so what I do is I get a movie, a disc of a comedy series, and a disc of a drama series in some sort of recurring order (it changes sometimes, like when I grew obsessed with watching the fourth season of The Wire as quick as possible so I had that at the top of my queue list every time). So up next is mostly more Dexter and Freaks and Geeks, and since I'm lazy and on a university computer I can't recall what the movies coming up are. I think Scarface is in there somewhere.

I have Vantage Point and the Ruins on hand and in my queue I have Bankjob, Bucket List, Shutter and the 3 Disc John Adams Mini Series. Ive rented probably 350 movies since October of 2004 between in the mail and free in store rentals through blockbuster, and Im still on the $19.99 plan free in store returns and unlimited 3 out in the mail which now runs $35.

Me too, mine is $17.99 though. Maybe we got a employee discount cause at the time my wife's cousin worked there....!?!

What is everyone's experience with blu-ray using these companies? I am kinda irritated because every time I get a flick in my que if I change the option to blu-ray it is usually a "long wait" but if I change it back to DVD it is "available"

Better yet, I'd rather just add you guys to my Netflix "friends" list. Kind of nice to be able to give each other recommendations and all that. I think I have KingPK on mine.

My e-mail's [email protected].
