Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Ahhh! You picked my governor. I was thinking about taking him.
Nighthawk Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Purely on ratio of movies made vs. movies enjoyed, he's my favorite actor. And he's my governor too...
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 For my first pick, I am going with another one of my favourite directors ever. He only makes a film once every 5 years, but he almost always hits a homerun. Peter Weir My next pick is the baddest jedi in the galaxy, Ol' Obi-Wan himself... Alec Guinness
Nighthawk Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 David Cronenberg (note to EHME, you didn't add my last director pick either... my directors now consist of Kubrick, Hitchcock, David Lynch and David Cronenberg... damn, that's good!)
Nighthawk Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 Nice. Nobody has done so much with so little... except Bruce Lee, of course.
Brett Favre Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 I figured people would overlook Bruce Lee earlier in the draft, and I kinda did the same with Dean, but I'm glad I at least got him.
BlackFlagg Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 nice grab, Dean was high on my list of upcoming picks
Lt. Al Giardello Posted September 13, 2008 Author Report Posted September 13, 2008 James Dean. No wonder why James Franco played him in a movie...
Ravenbomb Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 Since Toshiro Mifune was taken, I'll pick my OTHER favorite Japanese actor. Tadanobu Asano I saw Ichi the Killer, Bright Future, and Last Life in the Universe, and didn't realize it was the same guy in all of them until I looked it up on IMDB. Fantastic actor, one of my favorite around right now.
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 David Cronenberg (note to EHME, you didn't add my last director pick either... my directors now consist of Kubrick, Hitchcock, David Lynch and David Cronenberg... damn, that's good!) A bit similar in style though, if you wanted to get picky.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 Looks like somebody missed their pick.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 So whose turn is it? I think we passed maybe 2 or 3 deadlines.
BlackFlagg Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 Ron and EHME missed there turns, foleyfanforever88 is up
foleyfanforever88 Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 I don't know why, but I just love her. Kathy Bates
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 I'll pick Aaron Eckhart.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 For my next selection: Audrey Hepburn I'm surprised she didn't go sooner, given her reputation as one of the most popular actresses of all time.
Exslade ZX Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Probably not high on a lot of other people's list, but I've always been a fan. Loved what I saw (which was like a season and a half) of Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place. And from Van Wilder to Just Friends. Wish he had been cast as the Flash. But hopefully we see that humor portrayed just as well as Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds I also noticed while Googling for pictures, the guy has some crazy abs.
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Scarlett Johansson She hasn't really that many stand out roles, but she's hot and has the ability to grow as an actor... and hot.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Paul Newman Arguably the greatest actor that ever lived.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Why didn't you pick him, then? He didn't really fit in with what I want to do. Same reason I passed on Brando. I would have taken Newman with my next pick though. Couldn't let him fall any further.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Had to know once Redford's taken, Newman wasn't long for the draft pool. Shocked he fell right back to me.
