SmackDown hasn't been kind to me this week. I suspect after this week's airing I might even be out of the top 3.

I think this weeks ECW gave me my worst showing ever since this started. I wanted to stick it out with my team for this month since I seemed to have done well, but now with Bourne injured I'm rethinking that idea.

You know, with Sivy having Cade last month and so many having Bourne this month.. I'm wondering, if its a firing (but NOT a suspension) or an injury which keeps you out longer than 2 months.. You get one emergency swap a month? Or will it be 'I picked him so I have to stick with this through the good and the bad).

 

I'm not bothered either way, as I don't have Bourne or Cade.

I have a few questions for later on in the game. For Survivor Series matches, do you get points every time your guy eliminates someone from the match, or just for the last fall?

 

Same thing applies to the Rumble, points for each elimination, or just points going to the winner?

If you get a pinfall, you'll get victory points, I'd say. I don't see a problem with having, for a single match at SS, appearance points, match points, win points for each pinfall, win points for the team members, and speciality match points.

 

So say HHH pinned three people and Jeff Hardy pinned the other two, HHH would get three extra lots of win points, as well as an additional two points for winning the match, with Jeff getting two lots of winning points plus the one set of points for winning as part of the team. The other three members of the team would get a single set of victory of points each.

 

We're far away enough for people to have discussion and input on this, so what do people think?

To the above post, that's the way for the Surivor Series as we stand.

 

As for the Rumble, i'd say two points for every elimination you get, plus PPV match points for a win.

 

But i'm always open for ideas, if anybody feels they know a better way of scoring the two PPV's, i'm welcome to hearing them.

Survivor Series Scoring

 

Elimination Matches:

 

Appearing = Two points

Match = Three points

Win = Four points

Speciality = Three points

Eliminating Somebody = Two points

Finishing Move Hit = One Point

Weapon Shot = One Point

 

Even if you get eliminated, and the team you were on won, you still get winning points.

Hopefully the scoring doesn't go superly wrong tonight, i've backed everything up just in case, but i've written all the excel stuff in a way that just by entering the wrestlers score for the night, it will update the team scores for everybody including the monthly and overall league.. which cuts out all the team updating team by team.

 

So if anybody spots something wrong with their scores, please shout out.. i've ran a demo set of scores through this system though and it all works out fine, so there shouldn't be any problem. Just means from now on we'll have the updated results almost instantly (like 30 minutes after the end of the show) with league tables on here.

The Divas match counting as a specialty match is kinda ridiculous. Any matches that are won by pinfall or submission should count as normal matches.

 

I know the rules were decided at the beginning, but there is no reason any Diva should have gotten 10 points tonight.

Maybe so, but like you point out, the rules were decided, and any match where either side has more than two wrestlers is considered a speciality match.
