For the true old heads, do ya'll remember how for PPV's all our segments and matches and shit had to be turned in like three days before the PPV? Anybody remember that? There was no show being pushed back there, there was no edit something in later, your shit was in or yo shit wasn't, smell me? Dudes was militant on that. This way back in the day during the early stages of the brand extension. I ain't sayin bring it back or nothin. That's old school, and I don't play that. I don't play school, I buck my tool on many fools, cop me some icy jewels.

I don't remember that. I've been in the OAOAST since AngleMania II and from what I recall, it was always send your stuff by the day of the show.

 

Posting times used to be much earlier though. Pay-per-views used to be posted on Sunday afternoons, and Zack used to post HeldDOWN~!'s either Thursday afternoons or Thursday evenings at 6-7 p.m.

It was much, much easier when I worked at the wrestling company, had my own office, and was able to write up anything I needed to and also be able to post HeldDOWN~! at a reasonable time.

 

Now that I've got a big boy job where my ability to write something up is hit or miss, it puts a strain on it, but I try to get everything done ASAP. I think universally, it's just a matter of us all getting a little bit older, gaining some more responsibilities, and doing what we can with our writing.

To be fair, I think the main reason that HeldDOWN~! goes up now at 11, 12, or 1 a.m. Friday morning where I'm at is because Patty lives in the West Coast, right? I remember KingPK (who lives in the East Coast) used to post the shows at 10 or 11 Thursday nights, so it's not unusual for HeldDOWN~! to be posted on Thursday nights around primetime, which is appropriate, since that's when HeldDOWN~! is supposed to be on the air anyway, am i rite?

Son, Otis Nixon played for the dodgers in 97 there just wasn't a good enough pic on google. Yo, once dodger blue, always dodger blue, especially cause I got his autograph and later traded it to some suck ass at school for a PS1. ebay estimates that card worth a whopping $1.07 today. And three months later I jacked that card out his backpack. I'm gonna get my $1.07.
