JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Touchdown Raiders! All tied up. Now the Falcons need to hold on against the Chargers and we in a tie for second place! I can taste it!
Scroby Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Touchdown Raiders! All tied up. Now the Falcons need to hold on against the Chargers and we in a tie for second place! I can taste it! BOUT...FUCKING..TIME!!! Seriously, now the Raiders just need to play smart for the rest of the game and as long as both the Jets and the Falcons win....HEAVEN!!!!
CanadianChris Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 This game needs some more of Favre just having fun out there.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Further proof of how maddening this season's been for Green Bay fans: They're a 5-7 team with a +39 point differential. Fuck. The Bears are +33 and the Vikings are +7. Hell the Cowboys have the same +39 point differential and they're 8-4.
naiwf Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 The Pats and Jets are both down double digits at home and imploding. Miami might just pull off a worst to first this year.
CanadianChris Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 And instead we get Jay Cutler just having fun out there. Dammit.
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Further proof of how maddening this season's been for Green Bay fans: They're a 5-7 team with a +39 point differential. Fuck. The Bears are +33 and the Vikings are +7. Hell the Cowboys have the same +39 point differential and they're 8-4. Most of those losses were easily winnable. That's what is so frustrating.
CanadianGuitarist Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 My bar picks, ProLine, and KKK Bowl picks are all uniform. Rian Lindell might owe me about a week of his salary. Edit: 17-10 Chiefs. Damn. I still think the Jets will come back, too.
Psycho Penguin Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 And the Chiefs go ahead. Just think, if the Raiders lose this, they are one game away from being in a tie for last place!
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Well the Raiders were who I thought they were. What a heartbreaking fumble by Fargas. I hate football sometimes.
Psycho Penguin Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 So, did the Chiefs beat the Raiders already? Will they be 2-0 against the Raiders and 0-10 against everyone else?
naiwf Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 What's with all of these defenders concussing themselves on dirty hits today? Someone did it in the Steelers/Pats game, and it just happened in the Broncos/Jets. If some of these fucktards would stop leading with the crown of their helmet, they wouldn't be risking paralysis in hopes of getting on the highlight reel.
CanadianChris Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 So, did the Chiefs beat the Raiders already? Will they be 2-0 against the Raiders and 0-10 against everyone else? No, because they beat the Broncos earlier this season, not the Raiders.

No, because they beat the Broncos earlier this season, not the Raiders. Ah okay, that's what I was asking, as poorly worded I made it.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Im conflicted on the Steelers beating the Pats because it helps the Ravens in the Wild Card chase. They are now solidly in possession of the 2nd wild card behind the Colts and have the tiebreaker over the Dolphins. Its basically the Ravens, Patriots and Dolphins for that last Wild Card spot anyway. the Steelers still have Dallas and Tennessee plus the Ravens so the Division is still an option but less likely I think.
naiwf Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 The Broncos probably just finished off the Jets with that TD, and all but secured the AFC West now that the Chargers lost as well.
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Well at least the Chargers lost.... I hate them, but what the fuck happened? This is basically the same team that went to AFC championship game sans Shawne Merriman.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 They became entirely one dimensional on offense and nearly nonexistent on defense.
naiwf Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Well at least the Chargers lost.... I hate them, but what the fuck happened? This is basically the same team that went to AFC championship game sans Shawne Merriman. No Merriman, no Michael Turner, a shell of LT, Norv calling the shots and a Hochuli fuck up doomed their season. I would never have imagined a team that was a preseason Super Bowl frontrunner could have played quite that poorly without their starting QB/RB on IR for most of the year.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Well at least the Chargers lost.... I hate them, but what the fuck happened? This is basically the same team that went to AFC championship game sans Shawne Merriman. A week or two ago it was mentioned that they lost Lorenzo Neal to the Ravens and he was really more valuable blocking for LT then they knew at the time.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 No, they knew he was valuable. It was Neal who wanted out.
CanadianChris Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Today was as good as it could possibly go for the Broncos. Pretty awesome that we're almost guaranteed a trip to the playoffs when I figured on a distant second-place finish this year.
Brett Favre Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 The NFL needs to do something about the "injured" player bullshit. Like 4-6 times "injured" Bronco players stopped the Jets from running a hurry up, halting two of their drives. Fuck that. And they didn't get penalized with a timeout. Anyone can fake an injury with that shit.
naiwf Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 So TB was the only home team out of 11 to win today. The last two weeks road teams are 22-8 going into the last two games of the week. The Broncos are really milking this injury shit. Shanahan is the sleaziest coach in the NFL by a wide margin.
jimmy no nose Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Did Welker ever return to the game after Clark lit him up and got the 15 yard penalty? I still don't understand what a defenseless receiver is. I thought if I guy had 2 feet on the ground you could hit him.
devo Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 I'm not surprised. Virtually any time a team I support gets a little attention they tend to implode in a big way. Thankfully the Patriots lost so I'm simply annoyed instead of upset.
Brett Favre Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 I'm not surprised by the defense playing the way it did against the Broncos because we can't defend the pass for shit (although Hillis ran all over us), but the offense should not have had so much trouble. The passing game specifically.
2GOLD Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Watching Kevin Faulk and Wes Welker killing themselves (in Welker's case, nearly literally!) while everyone else can't catch a pass if someone had a gun to their momma's head was disappointing. That and Cassel turning back into back-up tossing bumbling fumbling Matt when the Steelers gave them chances to win the game was horrible. Defense lost one against the Dolphins and now the offense loses this one to the Jets. This team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs and if they get in, it will be more about other teams playing their way out. On the flipside, gotta love that Steelers defense. They will deliver so damn hard knocks.
Kinetic Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Tampa probably loses today if the Saints receivers had been a little more consistent in catching the ball. Just an ugly, ugly win that the Bucs seemed determined to give away. You can't complain too much about a 9-3 team, though. It was great to see Cadillac get in the end zone and pretty fucking puzzling to see him not get another carry after that, particularly given that we had something like four consecutive 3-and-out possessions as we were trying to take some time off the clock in the second half. HUGE game next Monday. Basically decides the division.
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 I've always liked the Vikings throwbacks (even though there not that old). They should go back to those.
