BlackFlagg Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 you have 2 picks so you're still up
Lt. Al Giardello Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Can CBright be skipped since he missed his last pick?
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 4, 2008 Author Report Posted December 4, 2008 Yes. CBright is no longer bound to the 12 hour rule. He can select any time, whereas the next person is now eligible for selection as well. Well this is in effect after Gosunkugi goes.
Mecha Mummy Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 I seriously did not expect to be selecting him this early, but the abundance of MST3K picks has forced my hand. The Master
BlackFlagg Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 only probblem with this next pick is what picture to use, so i give you a few of the many faces of... Dracula
6foot9 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Ripley and we have the first female pick. I was kind of surprised it took this long.
6foot9 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 pick one it doesn't matter. once a dracula is taken all draculas are off the board.
Youth N Asia Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Dracula is vague. If we're picking for a winner one Drac would get my vote over another. I'd rank Ledger's Joker higher then Jack's
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 4, 2008 Author Report Posted December 4, 2008 Then use whatever Dracula you like the best to judge the pick. I mean, really, does it matter? Dracula is a timeless character in which we know how he is basically supposed to be acted out. It's like discounting someone's pick if they chose Tim Allen's Santa Claus instead of Edmund Gwenn's Santa Claus. Santa is Santa. Dracula is Dracula. The Devil is the Devil.
Mecha Mummy Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 I dunno, I suppose theoretically you could pick the whiny Van Helsing "I HAVE NO EMOTIOOOOONS" Dracula and then it'd be a lesser pick than another Dracula. But for the most part, yeah, I'd agree with that sentiment.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 4, 2008 Author Report Posted December 4, 2008 Honestly, if more people felt the same way YnA does, then I'd probably want to change the rule so that people can select the specific versions of a character, and it wouldn't be one equals all anymore. Since if people are sensitive to particular versions, it's only fair. That said, I like how this draft has gone so far.
Guest Smues Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Keep the rule as it. I don't want someone else picking Santa Claus the Mexican God to kick my Big John Call is SANTA CLAUS' ass.
Kilroy Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Keep the rule as it. I don't want someone else picking Santa Claus the Mexican God to kick my Big John Call is SANTA CLAUS' ass. That most likely would've been me, but I agree on not changing the rule.
Guest Smues Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 My personal Ted Neely, my pick is Jesus Christ (Super Star)
The Ghost of bps21 Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Santa and Jesus? hmm...two mythical Christmas figures. Tis the season.
Guest Smues Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Only 2? You're saying you don't worship the Puma Man at Christmas? Heathen.
Mecha Mummy Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 I, for one, kiss my frog in the Puma Man's honor.
Twisted Intestine Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Am I missing something? Why'd it go from Smues to you?
Guest Smues Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Because the two people between my pick and Harley's missed their last pick, meaning the 12 hour rules doesn't apply until they catch up.
Mecha Mummy Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Man, that right there is a really good pick.
