I understand completely what you're saying about protecting stars because that's a weakness that Detroit definitely has and why so many Wings fans want Downey on the regular roster. Retribution for that Laperriere hit on Lidstrom last year is a perfect example of what he adds to the team. Anyway, tomorrow should be a fun game and it's good to have this rivalry fired up again.
