CanadianChris Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 The Colts should just take the safety and kick it from further out. If it gets blocked its a TD.. What, and give SD a chance to win outright with a FG? One of the dumber things I've heard.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 They're pretty much about 5-10 yards from FG range just on the return..should have took the safety.
Danville_Wrestling Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Chargers better get a TD here. Their record with FG's in these clutch playoff situations isn't necessarily the best.
The Niggardly King Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Please don't come down to Nate Kaeding trying to kick us into overtime.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 No way. They'd still get the ball and only need the FG for the win.
CanadianChris Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 They're pretty much about 5-10 yards from FG range just on the return..should have took the safety. BUT THEY CAN'T WIN WITH A FG.

What, and give SD a chance to win outright with a FG? One of the dumber things I've heard. If they freekicked from the 20, I doubt Sproles would have gotten them into FG range on the return. SD would have had to go further to kick the FG with no timeouts. As it is now, looks like OT, if not an out right chargers win anyway.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 What an incredible game. Tied with 30 seconds left? Oh yes.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 MVP Laser Rocket Arm's gonna win the game in regulation anyway.
The Niggardly King Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 This game is gonna give me an ulcer
2GOLD Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Thank god. If he missed, I'm sure there would have been a story about Nate blowing his brains out in the news tomorrow.
CanadianChris Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Wow, Manning probably has five plays, maybe six, to get into FG range if they play it right.
naiwf Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Wow, Manning probably has five plays, maybe six, to get into FG range if they play it right. Only needs two.
Danville_Wrestling Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Well the Chargers have gotten close with some picks....
The Niggardly King Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Nothing would be sweeter than Cromartie returning a pick for a touchdown to end the game
CanadianChris Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Nothing would be sweeter than Cromartie returning a pick for a touchdown to end the game That would probably make me throw up.
alfdogg Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Doesn't look like we're getting this into FG range.
2GOLD Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Doesn't look like we're getting this into FG range. Let him kick it anyway. It's Adam, that crazy sonofabitch might defy all the laws and hit from 90 yards.
Danville_Wrestling Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Do they really need to read the rules to these guys?
Hawk 34 Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Do they really need to read the rules to these guys?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Do they really need to read the rules to these guys? "Sup, guy!"
Danville_Wrestling Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Sproles got back bodydropped on that tackle. And the Chargers just avoided two bullets there.
CanadianChris Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Oh, no fucking way. Indy's just gift-wrapping the game for the Chargers on this drive.
