    Comic Book Rumbles

Short answer: no. Years ago, like, 10 years ago, there was a website devoted to Spider-Man and X-Men villains that had detailed issue reviews for *every* villain in *every* Marvel comic around up to that point. I lost the URL years ago and have been unable to find it since. I mean, this site was nuts. It had every cover for every issue the assortment of villains were in. No quips or side comments were made. It was a straight-up review site that was really informative. Hell, I never was a big X-Men fan but my X-related knowledge improved by 10 fold after I read the whole site (which was really, really big too). The site even had super-villain scorecards. I think the Red Skull, next to Apocalypse, up that point had the best success/failure ratio of any super villain up to that point. Magneto was pretty high too but I think the Kingpin was a spot above him (why...I don't know). Your best bet is to just find out who "feuds" with who since most of the villains who-belong-to-super-hero-x are recycled through on a yearly basis with a few "surprise" super villain encounters. Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful. I too would love to see a site that has tracked every fight and minor encounter the super folks have had. I think it'd also help out the hack writers comics have today too (Bendis, you fucktard...).
  4. 206 to 265 is the UFC "heavyweight" division. Yeah, and fans get onto PRIDE for their "open" weight divisions...
  5. But yeah, Rrrrrrrrrrsshh's new avatar is a crime against nature. May Helio Gracie strike thee down.
  6. Yadda yadda yadda... Alright, enough with the MMA vs. Wrassling dorkage. Leave the haters alone my fellow MMAcolytes. Perhaps one day they'll see the light. Until then, be jovial, merry and gay in the new MMA folder we set-up. ::cheap pop:: Carry on.
  7. Just who is on this "nice" defense worth mentioning? I know they have some ballers on the 2ndary but their LB's and fat fuck linemen look like the pits this season whenever I've seen them play. That's not good enough to make it into the SB and is why I'm not picking Cincy until they get some fat fucks on that team who can block and eat RB's for lunch.
  8. The Cowboys and the Chargers are my SB match-up but they're ssllllooowwwlllyyyy making their way towards the playoffs where anything can happen. If not, then shit, Colts or Chiefs vs. Falcons or Panthers. Those are 4 teams who I could see going all the way if they get into the playoffs.
  9. I thought John Hurt wasn't the Rangers GM anymore?
  10. and yet, I'm ok with that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think the UFC might just have its first ever in-ring death if Arlovski and Tank ever takes place. How ironic it would be if Tank ended up in a body bag...
  11. ??? They're about 30 + pounds too small...
  12. Touche. Okay, I'm sold on Oleg. But, you need to watch 15 Minutes if you haven't done it yet. Oleg really shines well in that flick.
  13. Good crap, Tank might die...

    Welcome

Forget that "intricacies" bullshit your spouting. Just sit down and watch some shows, good shows mind you, and anyone, guy or girl, can get into MMA. You've got all of us MMA dorks here at your disposal and many here are great people to go to for fight recommendations or who the fighters are that you should be watching. If you can enjoy wrestling, you shouldn't have too many problems getting into MMA. Fighting, by nature, is unpredictable. You never know how beautiful or ugly a match will be until it's over and the dust settles. But, if it's a great match, you'll never forget about it.
  15. br4l stole most of my dream fights... I'm an evil bastard and I'd like to see Shamrock and Severn go at it *one* more time. Just one more time. Then again, I wouldn't mind seeing Severn face Arlovski. Matt Hughes vs. Royce Gracie would be fun to watch. I'd love it if Royce became a regular fighter on UFC shows. Pushing him and Couture as the "Old but badass" group of old men in MMA would be entertaining if both guys could continue to be competitive in their respective matches. Frank Shamrock vs. anyone worth a damn in the UFC. I'd pay to see Frank fight again in the octagon.

    Welcome

^ that could end up being Paul Heyman's venture into MMA...
  17. You fuckin overachiever... But, Taktarov??? I love Tank/Oleg but...why Oleg?
  18. You still no-sold my question from earlier Brian.

    Welcome

Well, since you brought it up... Why can't you follow MMA?
  20. The Steelers and the Chargers are the only two teams I see, maybe, beating the Colts in the regular season. Maybe.
  21. Holmes set the single season record of 27 TD's rushing in 2003. He's not a HOFer but he's been one of the best RB's for 5 seasons. That's damn good. If this is farewell, then see ya and fuck you Priest, sincerely, a Raiders fan. Peace.
  22. Porter, I think there was some sarcasm in that earlier post. Like, just a tad.
  23. We'll find out when the Colts go undefeated in the regular season.
  24. Nevermind, the refs got it right.
  25. That just now fumble call where the ball was "down" truly sucked.
