  1. Well, another example of a wrestler who abused himself so much that it caught up with him and he passed away way too early then he should of.
  2. And Harts vs. Bolsheviks wasn't the fastest match in PPV history...Rock/Bossman from SS 98 was. Oh well, can't blame the guy I guess.
  3. Biggest downfall: Booker going from World Title match to pointless tag match & Jericho going from HBK to Christian. Biggest Rise: Benoit & Guerrero, obviously.
  4. I don't understand why Andre/Hogan and/or Rock/Austin from Mania 17 isn't on there.
  5. I LOVED that. My favorite part about Revenge is the fact is has a point system for the most dominant matches and stuff. I always enjoy going back and looking at it and seeing my initals along with my friends who played the game with me.
  6. This Angle/Eddie feud is great. Angle is such a fucking violent asshole, and he plays it great.
  7. How weird...I watched this match eariler today.
  8. That was a pretty good finish.
  9. Brock is crazy driving that thing.
  10. I can't help but laugh when I see how HBK seems to be main eventing - upper mid card on ALL OF THESE SHOWS.
  11. What song right now do you think has major potential to be used and why? *If you need to move this to music, I apologize.*
  12. Correct. After the shovel incident, Austin refused medical help and contiuned to compete. He then collapsed at a house show in San Jose and was put in the hospital, which lead to the embalming angle.
  13. I think at the time the shovel incident was the highest rated segment ever...then that was beaten consecutive times in 1999 accumulating with a Rock, Austin, & Vince vs. HHH, Taker, & Shane match on Raw that got something insane like a 10.7 overrun. The highest rated segment, though, ended up being Rock/Sock Connection. But I do believe at the time the Rock/Austin match was the highest rated ever, but I could be wrong. Check out www.otherarena.com and I'm sure they'll have the info. Edit: The Taker/Austin match you are referring to in 1999 was the night after King of the Ring 1999 when Austin won the belt back from Taker. That did a big rating, but not the highest.
  14. That whole WWF title belt presentation segments (2 of them..one before and the one after the commercial) as some classic WWF TV. Austin attacking McMahon, getting arrested and claiming "I ain't through you, Vince, not yet but a long shut" PLUS Taker/Kane attacking McMahon and breaking his leg was just great stuff.
  15. Very good match...if I recall, the match came about when Austin had in his contract that he signed with Shane he could get a WWF title shot anywhere, anytime. In fact, Judge Mills Lane showed up on the titantron and made it offical as well. Match was very hot and very good with a finish that was intresting at the time with the Taker shovel incident. I'd love to see that match again but I'd imagine it was much like their Mania 15 brawl.
  16. Also a very rare time in which you'll see Austin get tombstoned.
  17. Robin Williams is a fucking riot.
  18. I don't see him wearing wrestling tights or shorts up until Mania on WWE TV, so I'd imagine.
  19. I was waiting for someone to say this all week so I could respond to them. I'm going to call a foul on you for that one...I disagree. Last Monday, Foley talked about in the interview how he couldn't believe "no one came out to help." In the way Foley said this is as well, you knew where it was going. On Monday, Rock should come out and say that "If the boys in the back won't help this man, then I'll be damned because I will." Remember back in December when Foley was in trouble with the Frenchies and Rock saved the day? Rock always has had the respect for Foley since the Rock & Sock Connection days and he has gone out of his way to help him out before. He's going to do it once again because Foley is outnumbered (once again). The angle Rock is entering makes great sense and considering he's very limited in what he can and can't do for feuds and angles because of his busy scheudle, this will do great and will have a nice pay off at Wrestlemania. There. That felt good to get that out.
  20. Well, I certainly changed my mind enough times and in the end it paid off. I got this one @ Circuit City (The one originally at Best Buy) for 79.99 instead of 99.99: http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.jsp?c=1&...&qp=0&oid=67794 The guy who was helping me out was a total idiot and I told him to call Wal-Mart because they had it there for 79.99...and he said "Alright, no problem" and ringed me up and that was that. There was ONE Sony VCR at WalMart ( http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp...4564#long_descr )...but the one at Circuit City/Best Buy was newer. So I ended up getting to keep my DVD player, get the best VCR on the market, and save 20 bucks. Not bad for doing research...thanks for everyone's help thru this long and painful journey. ...sorta.
