SNME was promoted all over RAW and SD, the reason it got such a poor rating was because the casual fans don't give two shits about Shane, Cena, HBK, HHH, Orton, Taker, Mizark, JBL,a broken down Austin, Angle, Rey and unfunny skits.
So let me get this straight, the most over babyface on RAW won't be a part of SNME? Well at least we'll see Shane doing his cheap imitation of the Van Terminator.
You are forgetting Cabbageboy, the cool thing nowadays is to hate on RVD and to cheer for our wrestling savior JBL. The RVD/Shelton match was perfectly fine for a non-main event RAW match.
This is the best idea WWE has ever had in a long time, but this could turn into a bad idea if:
a) RVD does the job (again) to HHH, thus killing ECW and RVD's overness.
or
b)RVD wins @ ONS 2 but gets a one month WWE title reign.
Why job RVD to an old man that's about to retire? It makes better sense to have Rob challenge HHH for his MITB (if he wins it) title match two weeks before ONS and win the WWE title on an "ECW ppv". Funk should wrestle Sandman or Justin Credible in the midcard.
I hated him at first, but I started to like him around Survivor Series 2004 and he's now one of my favorite guys in WWE.
I could still give two shits for JBL but I must admit that he improved big time when he was WWE champ, too bad he didn't draw ticket sales/ratings/buyrates and that's why he was stuck doing jobs to the Boogeyman.
People were still booing Cena when he lost the belt to Edge and everybody knows that the outcome for this feud will end up with HHH getting the belt from Cena.
Trips just can't control his ego, he still feels that RVD could be a huge threat to his ME spot and he had to bury him as soon as possible, the only people he decides to put over are non-threats like Benjamin (athletic but very green on the mic), Benoit (great wrestler but "too small"/ "too boring on the mic" for Vince's taste) and Batista/Flair (HHH's buddies and too old to be real main eventers).
RVD should be his opponent @ Mania since the guy will be (Like it or not) extremely over when he finally returns. Edge needs to hold onto the belt while he's being build up as RAW's top heel, meanwhile Cena could feud with Hogan.
