I'm a big fan of Kurt's in-ring work, regardless of the fact that he lacks a lot of psychology in the ring he goes out there every night and busts his ass to entertain the fans. But his time as a top main eventer is gone and right now he should be letting other wrestlers get the chance that he got thanks to the WWE. He doesn't need another world title reign just like HHH or Taker, what he needs to do is help elevate deserving wrestlers(not JBL/Billy Blanks) to the next level instead of having those same wrestlers get into a feud with a very green rookie like Luther Reigns.

After so much spotlight, Eugene has fallen fast... WWE has decided to shift focus away from Eugene following his high profile Summerslam program with Triple H. Eugene is not being blamed for low ratings or declining business, but WWE has opted to lower him and put the spotlight on Randy Orton as the company's top face. Eugene was not mentioned on RAW following Summerslam and last week served only as the valet of sorts for William Regal. WWE does not have plans to bring Eugene back up to the level he was at leading to Summerslam, even though his feud with Triple H has yet to really be resolved. That disrespectful Aussie crowd! How dare they get bored during a match! They should have been on their feet cheering the entire time! It still can't beat the wave..... What will it take for Vince to realize that JBL is a joke as a champion?

The exact reasons behind the sudden change... WWE had been planning to turn Randy Orton face and break him away from Triple H and Evolution for awhile, however, the decision to do a surprise turn on RAW last week was due to two main reasons. One, both Vince McMahon and Triple H felt that it wouldn't be possible to stave off Randy Orton's quickly growing fanbase. Orton was already getting face pops everywhere and the decision was made to encourage the fans to cheer him now, rather than hold it off and risk overkilling the audience and making the turn anticlimatic. Two, business has been down and most rises have always been associated with the rise of a new top babyface. Everyone sees in Orton the potential to catch fire and spark business. The extremely low ratings for RAW and Smackdown going into Summerslam didn't help matters. Everyone backstage likes Chris Benoit and what he brings, but the feeling was that he would not be the guy to cause a business spark, which Orton has the potential to do in management's opinion. The risk of turning Orton face so soon is that fans could end up turning against him if he appears like "the chosen one" from management to be WWE's new face. To avoid that, WWE is planning to keep his character heel-like and edgy and not become too much of a traditional face. Consideration was given to doing a slow build for this entire angle. Orton would have remained in Evolution as World Champion, but tension would slowly grow between he and Triple H. That was back in the 1st week of December 2002 or last week of November(I think) right after HBK winning the big gold belt at Survivor series of the same year.

I never said he had a problem jobbing to people but with WWE management's backwards mentality they might ask him to do a "farewell match" with Trips @ Mania.

If Rock comes back to put a deserving wrestler over like Benoit then it's ok by me if it is to wrestle against guys like Taker or HHH then stay in Hollywood Dwayne.

I, honestly, would take JBL. At least his character isn't bloody dull as dishwater. -=Mike ...Who thinks JBL has been a good champ... All your crediblity has gone out the window as soon as you start praising a joke of a wrestler like JBL, WWE knows how pathetic is JBL in the ring that they won't allow him to wrestle unless is a gimmicked p.p.v. match or him squashing a cruiserweight.

All I know is that it will be way better than that horrible RAW: the wedding from hell show.

The next Rock or HHH? Well WWE already knows that their Rock (Orton) and Austin (Cena) clones are not increasing any ratings or buyrates.

Benoit is a great wrestler and could carry anyone to a 4+* match, too bad the mic can't do that for him.

These guys must really hate Rob when they start praising a Nash match over an RVD match.Love him or hate him if RVD ever gets the chance to main event he would do a better job than a JBL or a Big Show in entertaining a lot of fans outthere.

Let Taker/Angle wrestle but not for the WWE title, let RVD turn heel, become WWE champ and have a 3 way with Eddie and Cena at Mania.

And you would think that after the wave and the boring chants WWE would be smart enough to just book Angle/Eddy/Crapshaw for the october p.p.v. main event.

Mega-Heat in 2002? Is this the same mega-heat that he had when he wrestled Eddie in a streetfight match and the crowd started chanting for Latino Heat instead of the "Mega over" Edge? How about his pathetic 2nd IC title reign? WWE has been giving Edge too many chances since day one and he hasn't done anything with them.

SD needs a better WWE champion instead of a new set.

And nobody ever will.

Sid/Taker was the worst Mania main event match ever and Nash Diesel/Mabel was the worst SS title match ever until JBL/Taker.
