The acoustic-y one that Alien Ant Farm did, I think it was called attitude. So Bad. 'A' had that 'Nothing' song, they're the most irritating band on the planet anyway, and 'The Scientist' by Coldplay was pretty laughable. Snow Patrol's 'Run' and most of Keane's output is Coldplay-lite, which I previously didn't think possible, so they qualify. I don't think my opinion on this subject has changed in a couple of years, so maybe that says music is getting better. Probably not.

The synth line in 'All the things she said' is ok actually yeah. I can't decide whether I should consider The Vapors a guilty pleasure or not. 'Turning Japanese' is viewed as pretty silly, but they knew how to write a hook.

I'm not a huge gamer, but I find it interesting that the PS2 is the most popular here. A fair few people (in England) here consider it the worst, cos there's no exclusive games. I like the gamecube. How games should be.

I shed a tear at the end of Jurassic Bark. I think the final episode features some of the best writing (the opera) and is a fair reflection of why it shouldn't have been cancelled.

I've finally secured Third Reich n Roll on CD. Surprisingly, I've never actually owned it before.

I think the points made 'For' taker were good. His matches for the most part are too long and he's too far up the card, but as a big draw to get the crowd going in shorter affairs, he's got life in him yet.

I think the problem with English Settlement is just that, you have to know what came first. It is long, which means it's not a good introduction. But man, when the hooks do come through...

They're ok, from what I know the songwriter(s) were using interesting arrangements for the time but ran into a lot of anti-semetism in the industry before forming 10cc so didn't really make it as big as they could have.
