I got choked out for the first time today. It's a really weird experience.

Well if the player has obvious talent and is that good it's not his fault that the team sucks. I mean a QB who is awesome but plays on a team with no blocking or playmaking recievers shouldn't be penalized should he?

Jesus christ. I just looked at this award tracker where they tell you who won the national awards and I have to say that I was very happy when I checked out OU's long national award list, paticuarly from 2003 and 2004. In 2003 they won nearly ever award out there....too bad they could finish. *bows head* It just proves that all the awards in the world don't mean shit when you step on the field.

Well I watched the first 5 UFC's when I was a kid then pretty much left MMA. I got Pride 10 and 20 about a 2 years ago and I enjoyed them. Now since I've been studying Judo and Jiu-Jitsu I have gotten more interested in UFC. I started watching the show on Spike TV. But I want to for nostalgia purposes get the first couple of UFCs. UFC has them on video but not DVD on the website but anyone know where I can get them cheaper?

I guess there's no shot of getting Colorado out of the Big XII? But if they did leave....who would we take?

I've worked at many many places that serve food and I've never seen food tampered with in any way. Usually the manager is hanging around anyway so nobody could do anything to food if they wanted to. Also at most fast food restaraunts where they prepare the food is in plain view of the counter so it's not like they can really do anything horrible to it b/c you're watching them the whole time.

I was thinking about gimmicks/angles that I grew up with in the 80's and early 90's and sometimes I just wonder....who came up with that and why? Why did this guy get that gimmick? I was wondering if anyone else wondered that about certain gimmicks or angles and wanted to wonder aloud and see if anyone had any ideas? Like who came up with the Million Dollar Man for Ted Dibiase and why? I have others but I just have to gather my thoughts but I thought I'd throw that one out there. It was always an interesting character but I never had any idea who came up with it and why.

Oh he's ignoring me and making a show out of it. Big fucking deal. It's not going to change my opinion or view on this subject.

Is this because they think that America believes the others have no chance? In that case they should just announce Bush now and then have a formal presentation for him. It's not exactly like there will be any drama on Saturday.

And Texas will show that they aren't the bums that can't handle USC that you're making them out to be once the game starts. Once again you act as if USC is going to roll Cal or Oregon or something. They're playing the best team they've played in years not some Pac 10 team. You keep talking about USC gameplanning and preparing.....well Texas is doing the same damn thing! You keep saying that talking to me is impossible well talking to you is impossible because you're basically acting as if all USC has to do is show up and play with some effort and they'll easily take it. Not the case. If they want to win then they'll have to fight to the very last minute. And that's something they've only had to do once against a mediocre defense.

And USC is a viable threat to Texas if they can stop Vince Young and deal with the Texas defense and their coordinator's game plan(dude hasn't lost a game in 2 years). Both of those things have to happen, so good luck with that.

And if USC wins the Rose Bowl then I would be wrong. Big deal. Life goes on. The only thing that I'd care about is that they won another title and I have to listen to more USC dick sucking for the next 8 months. I actually hope that Notre Dame goes undefeated and gets ranked #1 next season just b/c everyone would forget about USC and I wouldn't have to hear them getting blown at every opportunity.

So you think the Rose Bowl has already been played? That's what you and just about every other USC fan are acting like. You are refusing to give Texas any credit and just saying "Well USC rules and Texas has not shot. No need to discuss the game b/c it's already over." Shit dude I'm admitting USC's good qualities but you(and every other USC fan) refuse to give Texas any credit or admit they are a viable threat to USC. The best you give is "Well they're good but they still have no chance." And yeah I thought USC would lose and they came close. Seems like everyone thought Texas would slip up or thought that VATech was better and that Texas was going to screw them out of the Rose Bowl. Well they were wrong. We can't exactly see the future. We can just predict. I thought USC would lose and they came damn close. And I think they will lose to Texas. I remember this whole board thinking Texas had no business in the Rose Bowl and thinking that Michigan would roll them. And then Texas beats Michigan. Same with the Ohio State game. You just give them no credit and then you get pissed if people don't treat the Trojans like gods. I could say "Well USC looked ok" and the USC fans on this board would crucify me saying "OMG! USC rules! How dare you speak badly of them! They're the greatest them ever! They would beat any college football team by 50!"

Well the pansies thing was all over gameday this past weekend and they said the "we are the only ones that can beat us" after Oregon and ASU.

Yeah they sure are humble calling the other team pansies and saying "well nobody can beat us but us".

They're 19-21 year old kids. They're getting so much media hype and TV time it's absurd. Of course they're going to get cocky. They didn't get cocky last year b/c nobody was predicting a blowout. Everyone thought the teams were meeting on equal footing. This year everyone is predicting a USC blowout. We've seen what's happened to national title teams in the past that have been predicted to blow their opponent out. They get cocky. Fuck OU got cocky last year only being a one point favorite.

Maybe you don't understand but Notre Dame had lost earlier in the year already at home. Ohio State hadn't lost at home in a very very long time and they'd NEVER lost a home game at night. On top of that the place was filled with more screaming Ohio State fans than there were Notre Dame fans at the other place. It was a lot tougher for Texas to do what they did at Ohio State than for USC to do what they did at Notre Dame. It was the best win in college football this season despite what you USC fans may want to argue. Trying to downplay Texas again. That's fine. Get cocky. Lord knows your team is cocky enough. But once Texas feels disrespected(they probably already do) USC will be in trouble. Texas will be going into that game expecting a fight. USC is going to roll in thinking "everyone loves us and picked us to win. it's like a home game for us. we got this. screw these chumps." And then they'll get blindsided by the best team they've played in a long long time.

When they first started and were in the leather outfits, I joked that The Bashams should have become The New Demolition. Yeah but they need the facepaint and the masks and they don't need to be such bondage freaks. Damn tag teams in the WWE sucks.

There needs to be another tag team like Demolition.

Ok well then don't you overlook the Texas defense or offense. Which will be the best defense and offense USC has seen this season.

And USC struggled with Fresno State and Notre Dame. And USC struggled in the first half against Arizona State. So what's going to happen against Texas? Texas is much better than all of those teams. Nobody seems to want to give Texas any credit while giving USC all the credit. And that's why USC will get a big head and it'll cost them. I mean you can already tell their head is big from listening to their interviews. The only one that seems to have a level head is Leinart and he can't do it alone.
