Why do you need any more reasoning than "I like it"? If I like something......then I like it. I'm not debating with anyone on here. I'm not writing a paper about something. I'm not writing an article in a magazine or newspaper. If I was doing those then I'd reason and give reasons. But why should I have to give more than "I think it's cool therefore I like it."? I don't understand.

I'm agreeing with you that people will shit all over the costumes saying the same. But what I'm saying is that they would be acting incredibley immature and I don't like the costumes being changed. Yeah the rest of America can like it but I don't have to and I don't. And I won't ever.

Spider-Man's origin story was changed in the first movie: the radioactive spider written in a time when we were in fear of nuclear winter was replaced by the genetically-engineered spider, made for a time when cloning and stem-cell research are hot-button issues. The random burglary of the Parkers' house was updated to Uncle Ben getting carjacked. And you know what? It worked perfectly well, and IMO, MUCH better than blind fealty to the source material would have worked. Until you accept a few things that people have been telling you all fucking day, then yes, you're going to be blind. But like I said, none are more blind than those who refuse to see. Wolverine's supposed to be a badass. So tell me this: would YOU be scared of some guy in bright yellow and blue spandex? Movies are a much different medium from comic books: the visuals are more immediate and more impactful, and thus have to be more carefully considered. I'm going to say it now: Superman's costume is a product of a bygone era, isn't intimidating at all, and should be updated whenever WB pulls their heads out of their asses and makes the movie. Oh I see. Just because you guys don't think it's goofy you're supposedly right. I still don't think it's goofy and I still don't have a problem with it. You guys can tell me "Well it is!" all day but that's just your opinion. And it's one that I don't happen to share. Yes things need to be updated with time but the costumes are one thing that I don't think need to be updated with time. It's a comic book. It's supposed to be colorful. These comic books would be damn boring if everyone was running around black leather outfits. And when it gets translated to film, well it's still coming from a comic book and people need to realize that. I thought the X-Men's costumes in the movie were BORING. They all looked the same and they were all black. That wasn't fun. It was boring. That's my opinion. If you don't share it then that's fine. But I'm not wrong for having that opinion. And would I be scared of a guy coming at me in yellow and blue spandex? If he's Wolverine then you're damn right I'd be scared of him. And as for insulting me and telling me that I'm not listening. The Movie Stars thing is this: -half of them aren't real fans anyways. They're just there to be on camera -they only appear during big games to get on camera -If the Clippers were in the position the Lakers have been in the past few years I gurantee they'd all be at Clippers games. -except the diehards like Jack they're all fair weather fans and when the Lakers go down the shitter I'm sure they go to. -the announcers and general media seem to treat it as some great thing that makes the Lakers better b/c they have movie stars at there games.

But it wouldn't look entirely like that. It'd be professionally done and I'm pretty sure they'd make it out of leather and not spandex. And on top of that.......that ain't to bad looking. If he was a little buffer and had the claws I could buy him as Wolverine.

I'm not a snob in the least bit. I just don't like the American voice actors. They aren't as good as the Japanese ones. Not to mention the Japanese voice actors are the original VA's. Hey if they dubbed the Ninja Turtles into Japanese and had VA's that sounded nothing like the originals and didn't even capture the same spirit that the original voice actors had then I'd be complaining about them to and saying the I prefer the English versions. I like the original better.

Just because you think it looks goofy doesn't mean that everyone thinks it looks goofy. Where is this set standard that "Well the comic book characters costume's look goofy! It's a fact!" I'm sorry guys. This has been a long time coming as most of you have seen it on the horizon. I don't watch WWE or any form of wrestling anymore mainly b/c of WWE and there shit driving me away. I just don't have the same passion for wrestling that I used to and suddenly writing about wrestling and writing wrestling matches has become an all around chore for me. And on top of that I just don't have the time to do it. So I'd like to announce that I'm taking a hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. I'm sorry to everyone that enjoyed my writing. I'd also like to say that Skull Mask and Skull Kid are up for grabs. Use them however you see fit. But Damaramu and Ryan Smith are going with me. I will use them if I ever come back, but as of right now I don't really want anything to happen to them. But the Skulls. You can ruin them, make them champions, hell make them into a gay couple. I don't care.....they're for all of you guys. Well it's been fun guys.

They'll never be able to beat Oklahoma as long as Bob Stoops is the coach. Mark my words. He out coaches them even when they have better talent. If Mack Brown loses to OU this year...I think he's gone. 5 years in a row? Texans won't like that. Anyways my preseason top 10 is: 1) Oklahoma(not just b/c I'm a fan of there's. They were scary during the regular season last year and they return all those starters on offense with another year of experience, a sting from 2 disheartening losses, and an actual run game this year. not to mention that scary defense that wouldn't even give LSU a 1st down in the 2nd half of the Sugar Bowl is better. They're the same team as last year that filled in the holes that were apparent in the last 2 games. They'll be scary) 2) USC(with that offense virtually still intact. Ouch. It'll take a brick wall defense like OU and LSU to shut this team down. So that's why I don't think in addition to OU they'll go undefeated as well b/c they won't run into a defense that can stop them until they face off against one in a bowl) 3) Georgia(the same team pretty much as last year that almost had what it took but didn't quite have it. Now they're back with more experience.) 4) LSU(just a vicious defense. Though I believe they lost some offensive players so they may have trouble achieving what they did the previous year) 5) Miami(Miami is always there and always has a team to be reckoned with) 6) Florida State(they have been underachieving and usually turn out a good squad no matter what. This year will be no different. The true test though is the season opener) 7) Michigan(they may be able to run through there conference with relative ease. Not to mention there another team that just finds a way to be there in the end) 8) Cal(what!? hey there only big problem is USC on the road. IMO they're the second best team in the PAC-10 and I don't forsee them having to much trouble since they were up last year.) 9) Texas(i'm just not as high on them b/c i know they cannot beat Oklahoma. Plus I know there coach is a braindead moron after watching the Holiday Bowl.) 10) Missouri(i'm still not sold on Brad Smith. But they have the best chance out of the Big 12 North which is admittedly the weaker division of the Big XII)

Most preseason previews I read are actually kind of lazy IMO. They put the Top 3 as the ending top 3 from last season. Which I guess is ok b/c any combination of OU/LSU/USC in the Top 3 is reasonable. You can make a case for all 3 being preseason #1(though LSU may have the weakest case). Which leads me to a preason preview I read that had: 1) USC(nothing wrong with that) 2) OU(once again nothing wrong with that) 3) Georgia(i've heard good things) 4) Where's LSU? 5) Hello? 6) Ummmm........ 7) The Fuck? 8) LSU(what the hell? this low? I don't think so)
