Just got back from a midnight showing. Hey.....I enjoyed the movie. Then again I enjoy a lot of things people say are crap. So take my word for what it is. The twist is! the monsters are just suits created by the village people to scare the people into staying in the village. They're kind of cool looking. Like big wolves with giant claws, porcupine quills, and a boar's head. Well anyways the village elder's were all people that met in counseling in Pennsylvania b/c they'd have loved ones that were murdered. William's Hurt's character inherited money from his father and they either paid a wildlife reserve or actually owned one since it's name "Walker" was the same last name as William Hurt's character. Anyways they lived out in the middle of the wildlife preserve untouched until Adrian Brody's(the retard) character get's jealous and stabs Lucious. Well Ivy has to go into the forest and go to get medicine b/c the stabbing wounds have left an infection. Before she leaves her father reveals to her the farce and she enters the woods. But he leaves her a story that "i had heard rumors that there were really creatures in these woods." and so she ends up running into one of them and everyone thinks they're real again. Well then we see Noah's(the retard)parents find him missing along with there suit. Ivy tricks the monster into falling in a hole and we see that it's Noah as he slowly dies at the bottom of the pit. Ivy ends up on the other side of the wildlife preserves wall and a ranger finds her. He figures out that something is going on but he sees that she's innocent and he should just help her. This is where we learn that the park is in on it b/c he goes to get medicine and the manager of the park warns him to not talk to anyone that comes out of the woods. He brings her the medicine, sends her on her way and everyone lives happily ever after. Personally I figured out that they were in a village in a modern day town in the first 5 minutes of the movie. I just didn't figure out about the monsters until they actually told us. I figured it'd be a weird twist, like they were werewolves and they were in transylvania or something crazy and off the wall like that. Also I had a demented idea for the ending: It'd have been cool if before Ivy returns with the medicine they show all of the village elder's around Lucious's bedside talking about the farce they've pulled off and if they should keep it going. One of them looks down and notices one of Lucious's eyes open. Cut to Ivy arriving at the village and she runs in to save Lucious.....only to find out that she didn't make it in time. All of the elder's console her and give each other a "Don't say anything" look. It'd be the perfect twisted ending. They kill Lucious to preserve the secret. Ivy thinks the monster's are real anyways so she can't rat them out. What was the original ending that was leaked out and had to be reshot?

I'm pretty sure it was Swamp Thing.

No K..............K? That post deserves a ban. K.

I'm pretty sure that most Yankee's fans don't want this stadium built. I'm pretty sure they love the historic nature of Yankee Stadium. And what's NYC going to tell them? "Go fuck yourselves. We want a new stadium and you're going to pay for it!"

No K..............K?

WHAT!?!?!?!? I hate the Yankee's but I am totally against that. The place has so much history.......hell it's the most historic ballpark in the world! Why tear it down!? This is bullshit! Damn them!

A matter of opinion (Perhaps the first of several)

Well I did prefer my stationary pocket passer at OU until he stood there and got his ass sacked 13 times in the Sugar Bowl........so maybe I want something mobile. How about somebody that can go mobile and throw it deep? -
There is no such thing anymore. You either go to the comic store, and buy comics once a month or some such. Or you only know the characters who've been in movies. There's no in between anymore. Look at Damaramu's original post. Sounds pretty casual to me. His friends sound like people who know of comics, not guys who actively buying a lot of them. Well I just gave you the streamlined version of what my friends say. My friends are actually people that go to the comic book store like twice a week and get every new issue of the paticular series they are reading and tons of trades. I only go like....once a week.

This sucks......why did I have to go to the first show of the Warped Tour? Man now I want to go again.....but I'll have to wait until next summer. Son of a bitch.....
-
Well you converted another one.....

Ok so I get my friends sitting around talking about comic books and everyone has a hero they think is just lame for various reasons. "Superman is boring!" "Aquaman sucks.....what does he do?" And so on. I haven't really thought about what main hero I thought was lame. So what main super hero do you guys think is just stupid? And why? *PS*I mean main hero. Not some guy that got a 20 issue series before it was realized he was stupid and not selling.
-
Yeah Marvel seems to get bored with there characters and be like "Oh man! To much backstory and continuity! AHA! If we remake all the heroes then people won't have to worry about continuity! They can start at a new #1 and go from there! Yay!" That just irks me like nothing else. What was the deal with DC's different worlds and such? I don't know really anything about DC though I'm getting into there characters.

Well I'm just trying the game out right now. Testing the waters so to speak on Varsity mode. After I finish a season as OU on Varsity mode I'm going to move on to All-American with a less prestigious school. That's the way I always do it on these games....... But Varsity is still to easy.......I just beat Houston 85-0.....though that's not to off from what may happen in real life this season......

That's what I hate about it. Goku is supposed to be voiced by the lady that did him. She captures his innocence. You put Sean Schemmel and his deep throated grunting there and it just doesn't fit.

It was Monday btw.....the big 20......the age where you really can't do anything....

Screw that low carb crap. I can't have chips and salsa on that! Yeah thanks Slayer. I was wondering if someone would make me one of these threads. Yup.....fun times were had by all. We went to Six Flags Over Texas and rode the Titan about 100 times.......fun.

Well I take that back. There is ONE(and ONLY one) Anime that I like in English, though I've never seen the Japanese version of it so who knows....I may like that better. That anime is Dragon Half. It was what made me fall in love with The Mighty Damaramu character. The english VA was pure utter hilarity.

Yeah but the Chiefs have a good QB so if Priest were to get injured he'd still be able to handle it. Miami......has nothing. Guess if you're going to revolve around the RB you'd better have a QB that can back it up. Jamal Lewis? The Ravens? Yeah they're QB hasn't really proven anything yet. But I hear he's better than we think. How long has Jammal played? These teams that revolve around the running back also seem to burn them out quicker.

Well I like the Spider Man villains. You want reasons? -I grew up reading Spider Man so that rogue's gallery has always been paticuarly close to me -There's something about the garish costumes and the fact that most of them are just hoods rather than people trying to take over the world that draws me. I like the "street level" feel that Spider Man has. Where he's more trying to stop a bank robbery than stop someone from blowing up the planet. -The Green Goblin and Hobgoblin. I just love there background and there motivations(the original hobby that is). Whenever I run my roleplaying games I try to fashion some of my villains after these two. Oh and I just love those costumes. That's why I like Spider Man's rogue gallery.

If you play Knights of the Old Republic it explains what Sith are. They were like an enigmatic race weren't they? And then they became a militant group of people(kind of like the empire) going around taking things over but had no real resemblance to the Sith of ancient times at all. This is all from memory so I'm probably wrong on some points but I think that's the basic of it. I know that there can only be one "Sith Lord" and then his apprentice. A master and an apprentice. I'll let you figure out in the movie's who is who. Oh and......when does this come out? I enjoyed EpI&II and of course the original trilogy so I can't wait to see this one.
