So? For some games [usually RPGs] getting emotionally involved with the character helps enhance the playing experience. Scratch the 'usually' part.....if you can't get involved, emotionally, with the characters at all, as in you feel nothing for the characters, then what's the point of playing? Yeah you know there's this thing called fun. Or maybe even you know being challenged by what you're doing. Like Sports or Racing Games. There's no story(except the one you make) so you have no emotional attachment to any characters.....you're just trying to win.

Ouch..I taped all of those NFL Classics on yesterday morning and I saw the scenes from the 49ers/Bronco's Super Bowl. Oh man that must've sucked for any Bronco's fan. Then again.......Joe Montana was like a god.

Dude.....to much.......to much. Some of the most notable was that he apparently went crazy with a thesaurus, made out in a girl's bathroom stall, cut a promo on a football player, got scared by a "gang of unruly teenagers" at the movies, apparently has pockets the size of Canada, oh and he made out with this supposed "real girl" while covering her in boxes of cereal, sour cream, and chocalate syrup....all that came out of his pocket. So yeah.....you missed some pretty unrealistic shit.

Alright we did an abbreviated version of this during the College Football thread. But I was watching the NFL classics on Super Bowl XXI and it seemed that well.......that would suck for any Bronco's fan. So it got me to thinking about sports heartbreak again. So please share your stories of when your team just couldn't get it done. Or was ambushed like the aformentioned Bronco's. Of course you all know one of mine......and that's the Big XII championship game. But I have another. When I was a little kid I loved the Buffalo Bills....but they lost 4 straight Super Bowls. The ones I watched though(i was only a kid..i watched casually) were the two straight to the Dallas Cowboys. I hated those god damn Cowboys(still do). I live in Oklahoma. We have OU but the 90's was a time when well.....OU sucked a huge one. So Oklahoma's closest NFL team was the Dallas Cowboys. Since we didn't have a college team to root for everyone here became huge Cowboys fans. The America's team crap didn't help much either. So everywhere I went there was Cowboy's shit. It's still like that today. Oklahoma doesn't have a pro team so we've latched onto the closest thing. So anyways I hated these fuckers. So in my naive childishness that knew nothing about football I went "maybe the Bills will beat them!" so I latched onto the Bills and hoped for a victory. They were crushed 2 years in a row. I felt terrible. Damn them Cowboys.............. anyways share your stories.

Texas made it to the title game? Man this game is fantasy. Of course in my game it's looking to be like Miami(not shocking) is taking on Kansas State(eh....) in the title game.

Some people see no problem in underage drinking, but frown upon marijuana use big time. For my first movie, I made a movie called "Drink, Drank, Drunk" which was basically how students drink a lot. The film wasn't that good, but I was more concerned with the editing process and it was basically a learning tool. Anyway at the end of the film, I ended it with my friend Kobi rolling a joint. I did this to show that there is plenty of other stuff they do other than drink. My Prof had zero problem with the underage drinking, but was against the marijuana reference because he saw it being much worse. My guess is that MTV will get more shit for people smoking a joint then a 19 year old drinking beers. Which still makes no sense to me b/c drinking is like 10x more dangerous than getting high.

What were you doing facing Big XII teams as Hawaii? Did you load up your non-conference with top 10 teams?
