I thought DC had really shitty Copy Protection, at least on the first run. Seems to me that we didn't even need to mod my buddy's DC to play burnt games.

My buddy's Dreamcast started doing that to Fire Pro Wrestling D (the only game we ever played on it), but he managed to hop online, find an FAQ to re-calibrate the laser or something, and get some more time out of it.

I know this is a dumb question but...is selling by the gram common in the states, even though you guys don't use the metric system? I thought you guys only went by like, eighths or something.

That is absurd. $20 per gram? I can get three for that price. I think, were pot to be decriminalized and sold in stores and whatnot, that wouldn't mean you could only get shitty weed. I mean, I don't think that everyone out there who grows weed is just gonna stop and go "Oh, the government is doing it now, I'll stop." They've already got the customers, customers already know how good their weed is, so I can see, at least for a little while, people still buying from their dealers. I suppose it would really depend on the prices invoved, though. I mean, the government would slap on taxes out the ass, plus assuming they had Pot Shops, there'd be an overhead for it and whatnot. And since dealers now wouldn't have to hide so much, and because they'd know they'd be in competition, they might even be able to cut prices. Depends on how much control they have over their own supply, I suppose.

No, because HHH beat Foley into retirement, and then when he first un-retired, he beat him again. Batistsa and HHH haven't even seen each other in the ring since their feud, even though they're both still in the main event of their respective shows (at least, when they're not injured). And it wasn't even like he beat HHH so bad HHH left RAW; Batista got moved. Edit: Damn you for getting in between there, BL.

If I recall correctly, what I found helped on that SWBF2 mission was stealing a vehicle, and parking it right in front of that one little enterance to the place where the refinery is, so that few people could get around you and you could blow the shit out of most of them. Also, using some rocket troops to take out their tanks helped. I once almost destroyed my SNES over a game of NBA Jam. I swear, the computer player in that game actually cheated. You could never get too far ahead of it or it'd suddenly just sink every shot it took until the score was tied, or pretty damned close. Used to drive me bananas, because I'd be trying to run up the clock, and then *ding ding ding* suddenly I'm losing.

I have a silly question: Can these games be bought without the guitar controller? Yeah, I know you need it, but like..if I bought the first one with a guitar, is it possible to buy the second game without a guitar and just use the first one for that? Cuz it seems kinda silly to me that you'd need to buy two of them, ya know? I've seen the games in regular PS2 cases, but I wasn't sure if that was for display purposes or because they can be sold as just the game, no controller. I'm cheap.

We did something like this the year Benoit won, only we didn't draw names, we drew numbers. That way, you didn't know who you had until they came out. The thing that made it work really well though, was that with 9 of us, we decided everyone would get three numbers, and three numbers just didn't get drawn. One of those numbers was one, and so we decided that whoever had the number of the last guy eliminated (because no one had the obvious winner) would be declared the winner. Worked really well for us, but a lot of it was luck.

Cuz it's not like the Silver Surfer debuted in Fantastic Four comics, right? RIGHT? You're gonna be one unhappy camper when these movies are released. Personally, I want Galactus to not be in this movie, except for a cliffhanger at the end. That way, the third movie can focus on Galactus, which is the way it should be; Galactus is such a huge threat to everything it'd be silly if he wasn't the main villian for two hours. Also, I think it'd be cool if they used this as the excuse to start crossovers; I dunno who owns the rights to what characters, but I think it'd be really cool to have the Fantastic Four trying to figure out what to do, only to have Spider-Man or the X-Men or something pop in to lend a hand, because they can't beat Galactus on their own.

I snagged Spider Man 1 and 2, and Shadow of the Colossus for $30. I think I'm going to be sending my brother back in to get me Simpsons Seasons 2 and 3, since they're on two for $35 and he hasn't gotten me a Christmas present yet.

I really don't think Yoko is a fair comparison to Umaga. Umaga's gimmick seems to be that he was found in the jungle. He's a total savage, doesn't understand anything except Estrada, and wears bizarre facepaint. Yokozuna's gimmick was that he was a sumo wrestling champion. Besides that, Yoko never really seemed to have the whole "I am insane and will kill everyone until my manager tells me otherwise" thing going on. I mean, he didn't speak English, but it wasn't like he was some psychopath either. Plus, since his gimmick was sumo wrestling champion, it made sense for him to be, you know, a wrestler.
