The latter two, perhaps, but he timed horribly in the 40 on his pro-day workout. Still, the Redskins won't pass on him. Just sayin'.

NBA Style Lotteries or NFL like drafts?
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to MrRant's topic in Sports
Just like how they snagged Marc-Andre Fleury and when the kid says "I'll forgo my salary to play", and the team balks to the NHLPA, I kinda wish the kid was on a different team (fuck the NHLPA, the kid wants to play). GR. I don't want the Penguins getting the #1 Draft Pick. No, no, no. The issue would have been bigger than just Marc-Andre, though; you just know the union would make a huge stink about every little issue if they accepted that offer. But if my Penguins get that Russian kid this year, they might actually have a team sometime soon! This is love. -
Fascinating, prescient column about how the less conservative the president in the last 30 years, the worse they are on national security. I couldn't have said it better, actually; this column shows beyond a shadow of a doubt exactly what we need in a leader to prevent another 9/11. Discuss.

GO PENGUINS! -
I know, but still. In case we do, because I'm not gonna be browsing the boards n'shit. But like, it's been more than 12 hours, hasn't it?

'eyo, if my pick comes up and I haven't picked pretty much right away, hit me up on AIM at Pr0p43t1c1n3 and tell me to pick. I'll be here pretty much all day, but I'm doing homework and shit, so... kick me in the ass and make me pick.

Yet ANOTHER example of the Bush Administration
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Current Events
heh...way to keep an open-mind there, buddy... -
Indeed, but according to the former labor secretary under Clinton (forget his name, but read this about what he said), the jobs that were created were, for the most part, low paying ones. And you have to create 150,000 or so just to keep up with the population growth. We've had consumer confidence slip a few months in a row, so it's really a bit too early to be gloating. Hell, I'm one of the people in favor of positive job growth; I actually need to grab one when the end of this month rolls around. I'll be mighty pissed if people stop hiring now.
-
The Bush administration promised 306,000 jobs a month the entire year. This is the first month they've matched it. Good sign? Yes. Out of the jobless recovery yet? No. Bush still is on pace to be the first president with negative job growth since Hoover. That's not good for re-election. Hold off your gloating for a few more months.

"Tyler McClelland" gives nothing. This came up with Tyler McClelland (it's just big, not porn). -
I'm aware. However, I'm talking about degree. Saying I'm more biased than most is like saying... eh, fuck it, I'm not in a metaphorical mood Just sayin', I'm no more or less biased than anyone else who has an opinion.
-
I admit I don't like Bush, but I fail to see how that makes me more biased than anyone else.
-
Hey now. I'm no more biased than anyone else in the folder.

I was gonna do a few more posts, but I decided to uh, have a social life instead. Oh well, next year.

Female wins McDonald's slam dunk contest
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to alfdogg's topic in Sports
"Male" courses routinely host women's events, case in point the events that happen in Myrtle Beach, SC. It's not like these courses are exclusively male (with, again, the notable exception of Augusta). -
Female wins McDonald's slam dunk contest
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to alfdogg's topic in Sports
...okay... I actually DO play golf, and yes, the women play the SAME COURSES as the guys for the vast majority of the time. Sure, they don't play Augusta, but for the most part, women play the same game as men. That's why Annika Sorenstam/Michelle Wie have transitioned relatively fine. It's a difference in distance, yes, but that's basically the ONLY difference. If a woman has the length in her game to drive alongside the boys, there's nothing stopping her (strength, for example) from competing. -
We should start it today, actually. Like, 5:00 PM or something with a 6-12 hour time limit on the first pick. If people actually take 12 hours each, we'll be on pick number FIVE by the end of the weekend. My God.

What's even sadder is that my rebuttals to some of your more wacko left wing posts I actually did believe. *shudder*

Nice essay, loser. Too bad you couldn't have actually like, y'know, mattered. Anyone who opposes the Bush administration is a traitor. Too bad you couldn't have put yourself to better use. -

Bush isn't Hitler -- He's Nixon
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Current Events
Ignorant? Pwah! You're the one who is sitting here claiming that our country's leaders are in the midst of a conspiracy to screw you our of your money. How pathetic is that? Want me to go get you your tinfoil hat or something? It's morons like you who make this folder so much fun; it's like shooting fish in a barrel. And it's exactly why you (and Kerry) will suffer a pathetic loss in November. -

Oh, Jesus. Why don't you repeat "HALLIBURTON! HALLIBURTON! HALLIBURTON!" until you fucking collapse in a pathetic liberal heap? Liberals have been overblowing the connection for 3 years now. CHENEY ISN'T EVEN GETTING MONEY OUT OF THIS. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SMOKING? Have you ever considered that... GASP... they're the most qualified? -
