  1. They rarely get play on WHFS or DC101 in Washington, DC. It's usually the standard Dashboard Confessional/Jet/nu-metal of the day lineup in DC.
  2. Considering it took 3 years for the last APC album to come out, throwing together a cover album for the elections (in about five months, mind you) is a remarkable thing for them. They also have two (IIRC) original tracks on it, so I'll wait until then to pass judgment on the effort.
  3. Considering APC gets NO radio play (except for "Weak and Powerless", which wasn't even remotely characteristic of that album), I'd hardly catergorize it with "today's music" as well.
  4. At least if they lose to Texas, we won't have to listen to his waterworks when they're not #1 over USC.
  5. Jesus, Dam, you're gonna be hyping up Oklahoma all year even though they only play one (MAYBE two, provided Ok St. doesn't implode) team worth a damn this year, aren't you?
  6. Hell no, he won't get 5%. He won't even get 2% this year.
  7. Did you see the part where it said "THE BIBLE" with "banned' written over it?
  8. *sigh* Pitt ALMOST lost that game. MAN.
  9. Yeah, the game will be played, they just don't know if it will be that night or Monday night.
  10. They're simply not going to throw in the middle of a hurricane, man. If they don't cancel/move the game, don't start the kid. I'm thoroughly confident he'll do fine when he's not throwing into a catergory 5 storm, though.
  11. ROOKIE OF THE YEEEAR!!!!!!!!!
  12. Don't make me start up the Liberal Legions, fascist.
  13. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT start Ben Roethlisberger this weekend. Not only is it his first career start against a solid defense, he's also going to be throwing straight into a fucking hurricane (the NFL didn't reschedule the game). That doesn't bode well for the rook.
  14. Yeah, my elbow hurts sometimes, but it's probably because I had Tommy John surgery on it
  15. You're probably just sore.
  16. Pittsburgh -- 17 Arizona at Atlanta (9.5) Baltimore (2.5) at Cincinnati Chicago at Minnesota (8.5) Cleveland at N.Y. Giants (3.5) Houston at Kansas City (9.5) Jacksonville at Tennessee (5.5) New Orleans at St. Louis (6.5) Philadelphia (5.5) at Detroit Pittsburgh at Miami (1.5) San Diego at Denver (10.5) Green Bay at Indianapolis (5.5) San Francisco at Seattle (10.5) Tampa Bay at Oakland (2.5) Dallas at Washington (3.5)
  17. Well, yeah, that WOULD seem to be foriegn thought to you, wouldn't it? After seeing your political idols glad hand ruthless dictators, I'd think it would be pleasant to have someone actually stand up to them. But to Mike, I guess this concept is just too radical. Bush/Cheney 2004: If Saddam is elected, they'll at least be NICE to the fucker!
  18. I think the important issue here is that I'm disenfranchising Nader voters with every breath.
  19. No, your state gets an inordinate amount of attention, not just "attention".
  20. Not recently. He's been on par with SUSA, Rasmussen, and this ARG poll; but if you mean Zogby's job ratings, that's true. Zogby's job ratings are done differently than everyone else's, though, so you have to take that into account.
  21. Actually, Gallup's polls are consistently outliers. And when you have outliers that are extremely in favor of one candidate, guess what? The average gets skewed.
  22. Naw, Zogby has an experimental internet poll running, but it's just for test purposes (to see if the sample, etc. is as accurate as telephone polling); all of the ZI polls you see in the news are standard telephone polls. And what the hell are you talking about in regard to "CLUTCHING FOR STRAWS LOL"? You tout Gallup polls incessantly; I'm simply posting the latest poll.
  23. ARG POLLS AMERICA!~ Interesting notes from a Democratic perspective: -- Kerry leads in the electoral college (270-253), but Bush leads in the popular vote (47%-46%) -- Kerry leads Florida, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Minnesota. -- The following states are within 2 points: CO, FL, IA, MN, NV, NH, OH, OR, PA, WV, WI
