I'm not quite sure that adding Delgado makes them world beaters all of a sudden. I think they'll improve, but I'm not sure they win the division by 10 games because of it.
 -
I thought Tom Green showed up for 'Freddy Got Fingered', too.
 -
I'd say it's going to be weird seeing Delgado wear something other than a Blue Jays uniform, but they went through about 4 of them in his time there.

I hope David Sloane gets a raise. He got Delgado an extra year and $20 million+ than what was being reported for most of the off-season. Also, Richie Sexson's gotta be kicking himself for signing so early.

I'm upset at the lack of Van Helsing.

I can recite the call of Paul Henderson's winner in game 8 of the Summit Series, even though it was 11 years before I was born. Also love the call of Sakic's last goal in the '02 Olympics. The video of the '93 World Series is awesome, since it has the TV call and both Blue Jays and Phillies versions of the radio call of Joe Carter's homer over the end credits. Obviously, Tom Cheek's 'touch 'em all, Joe' is awesome, but I love the TV version: 'Well hit down the left field line, way back and GONE!'

'You can't see it, I just winked' Barry's so awesome.

Yeah, the first thing I noticed was how shitty it looked.

I make those at work (the packages, that is). -
ant is correct. And this is sad that he died. When I heard I was like "who?".

90% 10 miles 247 seconds I lost some time since I couldn't find where to put Rhode Island. Too fucking small, I couldn't see any yellow space in there.

I don't think I can take a whole season of Trump talking down to the 'street smart' people while trying to act like their friend whenever they win. The whole 'street smart' thing is fucking stupid, too, makes it seem like everyone who's gone to college has been sheltered and coddled their whole life. 'Wow, these high school folk sold more hamburgers than the esteemed college graduates. Maybe I shouldn't have gone to college!'

According to TVTome, the next new episode is Feb. 9. Another Charlie one.

I'd say it's bigger since it seems like Delgado actually wants to play for the team. I always got the impression that Pudge just signed with them since they were the only team that offered him any kind of money and he didn't have much of a choice.

I loved the Andy Richter cameo and the return of Gob's chipped tooth.

My friend owns both DVD sets, but I can't go that far. I try to avoid discussing it with him, too.

Last year, I would turn down the volume when the theme song came on so my housemates wouldn't know I was watching it. I'm very clever.

Shit, I'd rather him go to the O's than play for Loria. C'mon Mets, don't let me down.

I think Quiroz is probably going to start the year in AAA, unless Zaun or Myers gets hurt in Spring Training. And, I think unless Reed Johnson is dumped somewhere, Gross may start in AAA, too. Wells and Rios have their 2 spots in the OF filled, and Catalonotto and Johnson will probably platoon in LF. Probably better for him to get more playing time in the minors than being a 4th or 5th outfielder in the bigs. Really, though, I don't think there's anyway they can be as bad as they were last year. At least, I hope not, it was quite depressing to watch. Oh, and Phelps SUCKED last year except for a stretch of about a week where he killed the ball.

Aside from Jeffrey Loria, I wouldn't say I hate any team or figure in sports. I can't even say that I really hate my favourite team's 2 biggest rivals. NHL: -Ottawa: I was cheering for them in '97 when they played Buffalo, I loved it when they upset the Devils in '98, but I obviously can't cheer for them anymore. I like seeing them do well in the regular season (well, not too well), though, and am glad they finally have a competent owner who doesn't need to whine about moving to Portland any time he thinks he needs the government to give him some money. -Montreal: Even though it gave me the opportunity to rag on some family members, when they were at the bottom of the league a few years ago, I didn't like it. I was upset when they lost to Carolina in '02, since we lost a chance to see a Toronto/Montreal Eastern Conference finals. -Philly: Hmm, this one's bordering on hate. Probably mostly because they keep beating the Leafs. And Bob Clarke's an asshole, so that makes it easy. -Rangers: I love watching them lose. MLB -Loria: Yeah, I hate him. -Yankees: It's frustrating playing in the same division as them when they spend about 4 times as much money on players as your team does. In terms of enjoying watching them lose, I think the shit kicking that the Angels gave them in '02 tops anything, and my dislike for them has gone down a lot since. -Roger Clemens: I hated him for a bit after he forced his trade from the Jays (especially since they have pretty much nothing to show for him), but that's pretty much gone now, especially since he helped out my fantasy team big time last year.
