  1. I'll need to check that out. There aren't any stations near the 401 that I'm aware of (at least close enough that you can see their prices from the road), and I think I've stopped there maybe once in the past year or so.
  2. Ontario Gas Prices is a good site. Sometimes we have some of the lowest prices in the province, other times it's 6 or 7 cents cheaper if you drive an hour to either Kingston or the Ottawa area (like today). I got it for 119.9 in Kingston today, and most places in Brockville today are at least a few cents more.
  3. Keepers: John Lackey - 2nd round Scott Kazmir - 8th round James Shield - 18th round (pushed to 17th) Travis Snider - Undrafted (18th round) Adam Lind - Undrafted (19th round) Dan Uggla - Undrafted (20th round)
  4. I just wonder how many votes Manny will get.
  5. Mr. Belding didn't live next door to Zack Morris.
  6. Drunk Jays Fans can be pretty good sometimes. And about once every 2 weeks or so, I'll read through Uni Watch to see if they have anything interesting.
  7. It's the plants that are moving. I lost my job because of that and the big Hershey's plant in Smiths Falls is closing and moving production to Mexico. One thing I can't understand is how all these plants and factories are closing in this area, but we're getting all these new box stores, we have a HUGE Wal-Mart, and they're building a big housing development on the site of an old cable plant that they just tore down.
  8. Anyone watched the season premiere yet?
  9. Yeah, I think that's just about it for the Jays chances. It was going to take a minor miracle as it was, but they're going to need a complete Boston collapse now.
  10. I was mad that Sportsnet decided to show the Nats/Marlins game during the Jays rain delay in Boston until I realized that it was the only game not delayed/postponed. Edit: Well, besides Cleveland/KC, I guess.
  11. So, the Jays win their 10th in a row and with the Boston loss are 7 back in the wild card. The only reason they even really have a pulse right now is that they have 7 games left against the Red Sox, but they probably need to win at least 6 of them to have any sort of shot at catching them for the wild card. Oh well, considering how shitty things looked in June, I guess I'll take it.
  12. I want to talk AL Cy Young. Joe Sheehan has article up showing how the competition Roy Halladay has faced has been much better than Cliff Lee's. Basically saying that Lee has put his numbers up against lesser opponents than Halladay. Unless he implodes in the last few weeks (which looks unlikely, considering who he'll be starting against), Lee will probably win based on his W-L record, but I think too many people are overlooking Halladay because of that. Or, of course, Dice-K.
  13. No, they were on TBS against Boston in April.
  14. My non-playoff bound team is awesome.
  15. Shit, I can't believe the Jays won that game. I think that's their first walk-off HR in over 2 years, too. And it was Gregg Zaun, too, holy fuck.
  16. I'll probably watch 90210 for a few weeks before I get sick of it. I'll also check out Fringe. Other than that; Chuck, Without a Trace, The Office, and 30 Rock. I'll have to download Dexter, since I don't have the Movie Network anymore. I might start watching Earl again, but I thought last season was pretty bad.
  17. "Are you breaking up with me?" "I'm breaking up with us."
  18. This is pretty bad so far. Jessica Walter basically playing Lucille Bluth again is about the only reason to watch.
  19. I'm reading that the Chiefs are going to make a pitch to get the Mets affiliation. And I think the Jays want to move their team to Buffalo.

    Google Chrome

You can add the home button in the options. I don't like the stop button where it is, though.
  21. holy purple
  22. Death Proof is solid up until Stuntman Mike gets shot. I realize what he was going for with the Girl Power stuff, but the movie isn't as good after that, because Kurt Russell is so awesome in this, and then he turns into a little girl, I don't want to see that. Hell, if he gotten away, it might have been better, instead we get Rosario Dawson and her stupid haircut stomping on his head. I'd say from when Russell shows up at the bar until he gets shot, it's probably better than Planet Terror (the shot of Stuntman Mike getting into his car, flicking his cigarette and smiling at the camera is so fucking great), but I just can't get past how much I dislike the ending.
  23. David Eckstein, who apparently still played in Toronto, was traded to the D-Backs. This fulfills my pre-season prediction of him being traded to a playoff team AND we get to hear a bunch of great stories about him come playoff time! Did you know he was small?
