I can understand wanting to make the folder a better place to post, but you're just going to piss people off if the people making/enforcing the rules are people who rarely post there, which is kind of how this is coming off (to me, at least).

Why did you expect to be on the edge of your seat? The movie was supposed to be about telling the story of Herb Brooks wanting to win what was taken away from him in 1960 when he was cut from the team that year and it did a really good job doing that. The USA/USSR game was really well done, too, and I'm really glad they chose hockey players and had them act (which they weren't really good at, but there weren't many scenes that relied on the players, so it was ok) as opposed to having to teach actors how to play hockey.

On last night's show they said that she would be on the show on Monday, when they would show the footage with her doing commentary.

It's funny that everyone's calling for his head over this, especially considering what he said is pretty much factual. And I don't think he's live every week, anyway. When there's 2 games on at 7, they usually tape it earlier since the intermissions don't match-up.

I can't be the only one who finds it a little hypocritical of CBS to be all shocked and outraged by the whole Janet Jackson thing at the Super Bowl yet have some middle-aged naked guy running around naked half the show. Yeah, I know it's blurred, and everything, but still, we know what's under there and you know they're going to release a DVD of the season that will probably be un-censcored.

I think Lalime is a good goalie, too, but his playoff play seems to inconsistent to me. He can be awesome for a series and then not good enough the next one (2002 he was amazing vs. Philly but not so much against Toronto) so I don't know if he can be counted on to win it all. There have been 2 games in the past week where he's given a lead late in the game and hasn't been able to hold it (against Dallas and last night's Leaf game), and I'm sure giving up 10 goals to the Leafs in 2 games isn't exactly encouraging. Personally, though, I wouldn't make at trade, since there are no clear-cut upgrades over Lalime available right now. People can talk about Burke all they want, but in no way is he an elite NHL goaltender. Kolzig may be available, too, and maybe Roman Turek, too, but they aren't going to be upgrades.

I got a re-run the night before that, too, with George Clooney promoting 'Intolerable Cruelty', even though on the website it had a write-up of Bill Belicheck and Cindy Crawford. Anyone know what the deal with that was?

Do you think the Sens need a new goalie, Chris, like a lot of people seem to be saying. Lalime didn't look so good on a few of the Leafs' goals last night, specifically the one where he chased Kaberle out of the net, which I think either Stajan or Sundin ended up putting in.

Why are some people so uptight? She said she might want to pose nude at sometime, not murder someone. It's not really any worse than any of the 'Divas' shoots she does already.

Personally, I can't really watch Curling until the later ends when there's some drama building. It's always especially interesting watching the strategy they employ and whether or not it works out.
