  1. Can the Bruins go back to wearing the throwbacks that they wore tonight full-time? I know they're not that much different then their current ones, but they're so much better.

    Banky

    Lamerer and lamerer.
  3. You can show him going insane after everyone spells his name with an 'h' at the end.
  4. Markov blows into Philly
  5. I don't know, I remember a few years back the Thrashers, Hawks, and Falcons (pre-Michael Vick) were all towards the bottom of the league in attendance, while the Braves don't attract the amount of fans you'd expect them to.
  6. 650, or so.
  7. Miracle is about the only thing that sticks out to me.
  8. This is all very lame.

    Big Fish

Really good movie, but I didn't cry. And just a question someone here may have an answer to: Was Karl/The Giant ever on one of those Guiness World Records or Ripley's Believe it Or Not type shows? Oh, and Steve Buscemi is awesome.
  10. He sucked.
  11. Too many of Mole's replies are, 'I don't know what this is' or 'I've never heard of this'. It's annoying, but in a good way.
  12. I didn't like this show at all. American Idol, Chicken of the Sea, the Olsens joke, and the last line of the Mexican Restaurant skit were the only things that really got a laugh out of me. Weekend Update was horrible, too.
  13. Yeah, he's pissed.
  14. If it is true, I'd laugh if it was Atlanta. The possibility of them getting 2 teams over time, only to see them relocate to Canada would be quite funny.
  15. Some of what Roenick said was pretty funny and some of it was pretty much true, but he just came off as a pathetic whiner. Yeah, you got highsticked and the refs missed it, but you got off light with only a 1 game suspension for his water bottle tossing and subsequent tantrums. Like I said in the NHL thread, look at Owen Nolan. He gets clipped in the eye with a high stick (no penalty on that play, either) and he doesn't whine about it for days after the fact. Roenick's lucky he can still play and isn't sitting on the sideline like Nolan has been for the past few weeks and likely will be for AT LEAST another few weeks, if not longer.
  16. What the fuck is banning them going to do? If someone is crazy enough to carry out a death threat given out over the Internet, banning them is probably going to make the situation worse. Also, if this is the case, then if someone on the board said they were going to kill a celebrity and then went out and did it, would it be Dames' fault?
  17. Hmm, I didn't see him punch Weinrich, but you can forgive me for trying to force this little home-and-home series out of my mind.
  18. Yeah and remember how Domi sprayed water on the guy to incite him. Meh, Domi didn't spray the guy until he had had enough heckling from him. I'm not saying that he should have done anything, as Domi has probably taken enough harrassment from fans over his career that he should probably be able to ignore it, but it's not like Domi went into the box and was randomly spraying people in the crowd.
  19. Premier. And Newfoundland is one word.
  20. I don't know, I prefer the Leafs in the East against rivals like the Sens, Habs, and Sabres. On a unrelated note, Henrik Sedin just scored a NICE goal against the Ducks.
  21. Ugh. Can we start a motion where the Leafs never have to play the Flyers again? It was even worse since the Leafs outplayed the Flyers for a stretch there but couldn't put the puck into the net and then the Flyers come back, get a few lucky bounces and goals and the Leafs stop trying. I hate to use this an excuse, though, but all these injuries are killing them. Obviously, I'd like them to win the division and (hopefully) finish 1st in the conference, but I wouldn't mind too much if they slipped down to 6th and drew whoever wins the Southeast in the 1st round with Mogilny, Nolan, et. al all rested and ready for the playoffs.
  22. I don't think it's quite official, but yesterday on some radio show they were talking about how Bud Selig made his annual, 'We hope to have some place to move them by the All-Star break' speech.
  23. I don't know if the average Puerto Rican has enough money to make a full-time major league team viable. Sure, they drew well enough over the course of about 20 games, but I'm not sure how they'd do over a full 81 game home schedule.
