They must be getting Booker T ready for a title shot or something. Not that he'll win or anything...just a shot. I could see him turning heel and taking on Batista down the road.
-
Booker T with the SK off the second rope. A very high impact move finally put Christian away.
-
The crowd is booing Booker, loudly.
-
This is also a very pro-Christian crowd: "Booker Sucks!" "Let's go Christian!"
-
A sign: "Dominique (sp?): Who's Your Daddy?"
-
No. JBL wins and OJ drops his title, then it'll be a great night.
-
*marks out* I know I'm the only one here who loves that (the fans there seem to like it), but screw it.
-
You know, this match hasn't been that bad so far. Both teams are actually doing pretty good here.
-
Hearing that music, Hawk...was just weird. Awesome, but just weird.

That is the reason I started to hate Kidman's SSP, after I saw other guys do it. Ok, I ordered this PPV. Who else took that dive also?
-
It was a damn good SSP also.
-
Bad taste? Maybe...pretty much. Awesome video? I'd say so.

Oh my God. This isn't the same thing that is on WWE.com is it?
-
Ugh, they are showing this Batista segment on Heat. Am I the only one here who thought he did a horrible job there?

Once upon a time the US title most certainly was important. Now maybe not at any point of it being involved with WWF/WWE, but at a point nonetheless.

For once, I don't care that the Benoit/OJ match doesn't have any type of storyline to it. The point of the match is one of two things: 1) To finally get the belt off of OJ, and to hand it off to Benoit so he can move and hopefully make the belt seem important again. His winning it will not be what does that, which is why there isn't no feud for the match. All of that will come with what Benoit does with the title, his future feuds, etc... A Benoit/JBL feud over the US title would work perfectly, and would make a lot of sense. 2) The Benoit/OJ match is just a pawn in a greater plan. We could see JBL help OJ defeat Benoit, which could then lead to a JBL/Benoit feud without a belt even being in the picture. The Benoit/OJ match could just be the setting for the JBL attack to take place, which could explain why there isn't any interaction going on betwen Benoit and OJ. Now I hope to God choice #1 is what we'll be seeing. I don't know about everyone else here, but I really am glad that Benoit/OJ isn't an actual feud. Who wants to see Benoit get tossed into an actual feud with that guy? I sure as hell don't. Let's just have Benoit kick OJ's ass, and then move on to doing bigger things with the title. This isn't the first time that a match for a title has taken place without a feud involved. I could think of quite a few times where they did the same thing only to get the title off of the other guy, and to keep it growing into a long term deal.

I wonder if he gets things going on Velocity, if he'll be bumped up to SD once Velocity goes under. I know that's a big "yeah right" more than likely, but still.
-
The secret, is that he knows the Bush family recipe! They will be bringing in Duke the dog and together, he and Eddie will run over Rey and WWE.

I could see it ending in a DQ. I wouldn't really like that, but I could see it happening. I will be pulling for JBL myself though. I started out a huge Batista fan, but his feud with HHH really soured me on the guy, what with them having no chemistry at all with one another. Then now that he's on SD, I loved his debut and all, but I am having trouble totally accepting him as a champion all of a sudden. That horrible promo he had at the end of SD didn't help matters either. That was some of my least favorite mic work ever, I just couldn't stand it. I'm sure I'll come back around, but it's going to take something major. I know I'm in the minority on this one, but there you go.

He's going to start a stable called...The Boogiemen. It will be comprised of various workers who can't get on TV otherwise, and will all look like different mutants and monsters.
-
Oh I know that WWE doesn't give a shit (wtf was up with the ME of WM2000?). I'm just saying that I don't like stuff like that, for the most part, on the big shows for the main titles.
-
I'd rather the three-way to be on one of the other minor PPVs, not the second biggest PPV of the year.

From PWInsider: Go check that out people. The singing, mixed with the wind sound effect, makes this look about a million times worse than it did when it was aired live. Also from PWInsider: http://www.reymysterio.com/

I don't understand the Eddie/Rey stipulation. So Eddie needs to win his match before he will/can "tell a secret"? Fuck Eddie finally winning at the GAB. I say have Mysterio win once again here, and while Rey is celebrating, have Eddie knock him out, grab the mic, and revel the secret anyway. It would make Eddie much more hated if he went along with the rules. Not to mention that it would be shocking, since everyone expects Eddie to win anyway. I don't see their feud ending at SummerSlam. That only gives the a month to work the "secret" angle once it's revealed, and the way they have built it up, it looks like something that could go on for more than just a month. I could see Eddie winning at SS, then extending the feud for another month or two.
