  1. The Devil's Rejects is most certainly NOT a horror film. This piece of shit, and yes I did call this movie a piece of shit, is nothing more than a 1970's exploitation film, way moreso than House of 1K Corpses. Corey, I do agree with the first quote you listed, that was a great exchange. About the only time I was even remotely interested in this one was when it was trying, even thought most of the time it was trying way too hard, to be funny. I would have left the theater if I was there by myself. Skip this mess and go see a true film this weekend, Hustle & Flow.
  2. While I agree that it's bullshit that this is a "real" report, the idea of the proposed match isn't beyond the realm of possibility. I wouldn't be shocked for a second if they tried to set something like that up. I think it would make more sense if it was Hogan/Savage though, but we all know that one would never happen. Now Hogan/Piper vs. Austin/Rocky, that's more possible than anything else.
  3. I just put in my Andre the Giant DVD to watch for the first time, and it made me sad when Lord Alfred Hayes started talking. I forgot that this DVD was just one of the home videos on DVD for the most part, with Hayes doing the voiceovers.
  4. Is it wrong if I marked for the finish of that one? Smackdown was ok, with two pretty good matches, a couple of fun squashes, and JBL being entertaining (in my eyes) once again. Go to WWE.com and check out the bWo video setting up their match against the Mexi-Cools. Funny stuff.
  5. http://www.wwe.com/content/media/video/591...rdalfredtribute WWE has a small tribute video up on their website.
  6. EDIT I hate that they are dropping the character... I'm going to miss that music!
  7. http://p220.ezboard.com/fwarriorcentralfrm...picID=645.topic <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah right. I bet this will get people to buy it who previously didn't care about the DVD.
  8. I agree with justcoz, as well as those saying CCC sucks in the ring. I'll try to sum up how I feel: When he first debuted, I hated the guy. He didn't have any offense in his matches at all (seriously, go and watch his first few matches, he didn't ever do ANYTHING). That has changed slightly, he gets shots in just like everyone else, but most of his work is seemingly done to piss the fans off. That's how I look at it, even though I hate that idea. So I went a good while hating the guy, I just couldn't get into him at all. However, as time went by, and I saw more and more of his work OUTSIDE of the ring, I started to like him more and more week after week. I am now to the point where I can forgive him for not being great in the ring, simply because I like what he can do out of it. All of that said, I do think he is winning titles far too early in his career, especially by beating people like Shelton. I'm willing to give CCC time to grow and develop in WWE. If he can really find his niche, he will be a huge asset to the company, even if that means that he ends up more as a mouthpiece than a wrestler. I can't even believe that is the same guy!
  9. I figured this would happen soon, since I heard about his previous troubles. So yeah, this was expected for me. Truth be told, I was never a huge fan of his when I was younger. I do however recognize the fact that his voice and image became something of a staple of WWF in the 80's. His voice is one in wrestling that I'll never forget. I do not know a single thing about his wrestling days. RIP. Here are some pictures of him. Check out the ones of him as a wrestler, and then those most recent pictures of him. http://obsessedwithwrestling.com/gallery/a/alfredhayes.html
  10. At the big Nitro in Atlanta where Goldberg beat Hogan clean for the WCW Heavyweight Championship, I had the nosebleed seats, basicly at the very top, in the very back, of the area. After the first match I decided that I just couldn't sit that far back, you seriously couldn't make anything out at all since it was so far back, so I decided to try to get better seats. On the way, a security guard had bunch of unused tickets in his hand, ripping them up and tossing them in the trash. After questioning him, he said it was tickets that people were trying to unload at insane prices on the streets outside. After a few minutes of begging, he finally gave us better seats, with tickets. They were on the 7th row back, dead center. Since then, I have purposely bought nosebleed seats every now and then so I can get into the show cheaper, then just move on to better seats.
  11. Why in the hell is the bWo gone now?
  12. I don't think so.
  13. I haven't seen Murder, My Sweet yet, but I do own it and plan to watch it very soon. The Big Sleep is one of the most perfect films ever though. Lauren Bacall is hot and all, but I think Vickers and Joy Barlow are cuter. Here is Joy in The Big Sleep:
  14. Any DVD with a Roger Ebert commentary: Dark City, Casablanca, Citizen Kane Boogie Nights (two disc Platinum Edition): Paul Thomas Anderson All Joe Bob Briggs commentary tracks!
  15. I don't understand what good it will do for either guy to beat the other one though. I can't wait for the match, but in the end it wont mean anything at all, other than just being cool because two legends are going at it.
  16. You say that as if you're sure what to think NOW. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Slow down, I didn't say that either. I'll never know what to think of it.
  17. I don't know what I'd think if I didn't watch wrestling, and I was channel surfing and saw Vis humping two men on the floor.
  18. Of course. Then he'd come out with an album titled "The Ressurection of John Cena".
  19. Lita's been "On a Pole" way too many times for there to be a match. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  20. When do we get to see a Lita On a Pole match?
  21. MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! MORE KANE/EDGE??????????? STRETCHER MATCH!?????????????????????????? This is the feud that never ends, it goes on and on...
  22. Well, I forgot about that.
  23. Have them join up together, do stupid shit for a few months, then have them come out and turn heel. She goes from supid to vengeful bitch, showing her true self, while Eugene finally states that he isn't retarded, and it was all made up, and they both shit on the fans for buying something so stupid. An instant heel pair, I'd love it.
  24. Holy Lord this woman is hot as fire. We need more and more of her on every WWE show.
  25. And here I am thinking it's one of the lamest covers in years.
