Here is my opinion. I don't see anything wrong with what Jon Stewart did, but instead of how he went about doing so.

I just keep on getting great deals. I bought another copy of Armageddon: Criterion Collection there for only $9.99 tonight. I'm about to pick up the following in a trade, and I can't wait to get it! Halloween: The Complete Collection (8 Disc Set) (R2):

Let me tell you all a quick story. Ok, so I had no clue what perfection I've been mission for the past three years until today. After watching Garden State the other day, I wanted to see more that Zach Braff had done. I put it off in my mind for a few days, but I started thinking about it again this morning, so I downloaded the entire first season of Scrubs today, and I watched more than half of it today alone, and I now love, LOVE the show. I'm not talking "eh, it's an ok sitcom" type of thing, but a "holy shit this is perfect TV" kind a thing. I'm talking, I love this series almost as much as I loved Seinfeld. I just can't believe that I am just now discovering it. I'll finish watching all of the episodes and then start watching it weekly, I'm hooked on it now. I even downloaded the soundtrack earlier today and I've been listening to it all night when I've been able too, it's great also. I wrote off TV for some crazy reason years ago, just about everything but wrestling and the news. I've discovered Firefly, and now Scrubs, and I love it. I just have to wonder what all else I've missed over the past six or so years, or even more.

JasonX, you are ____________________________________. *EDITED DUE TO MY NOT WANTING TO BE BANNED* Back on topic though, I saw the film tonight (and I saw a special showing of Friday the 13th after it) and I thought it just kicked all kinds of ass. It was funny as hell, and I'll own the DVD as soon as it comes out. I already can't wait for it. I'll post more thoughts on the film later.

I haven't even seen it and I believe the following is more than likely the message of the film: 1) Many celebs are a bunch of fucks who try to act like big shots by talking about shit they know nothing about. 2) Stupid things are done by all on both sides, and it's funny. 3) The United States may make odd decisions at times, we have a certain image, but damnit to hell, we still kick ass. 4) It's ok to make light of serious topics, so sit back, understand that it's all in fun, laugh, and enjoy ya bunch of tight assed bastards. 5) Many things that happen in action/etc... films are just flat out stupid.

If no one here knows about this site, it's pretty cool if you can play DVDs from other regions (you may be able to and not know it). http://nicheflix.com/ This doesn't have anything to do with the topic, but I thought I'd share that with you all.

Jeon Ji Hyun is a 22 year old Korean actress who has been in the following films: White Valentine Il Mare My Sassy Girl Uninvited Windstruck

I went to watch this, but I was 16 minutes late because of a problem with my engine and cell phone. Seeing how I never go to a movie when I'm late like that, I turned around and came home. I'll go tomorrow night though, and I might just stay for the specia 10 pm showing of Friday the 13th.

I loved The Majestic.
-
I forgot one. I'll be sure to watch every film that Jeon Ji Hyun, and up to this point I've done just that. I can't get enough of her.

Well, after owning the DVD now for a while I have to say that not only is this film my personal pick for the best film ever as well as my favorite, but it's also the most rewatchable. Especially the first 17 minutes or so before the opening credits even roll.It just has an absolute perfect charm to it and all of that time is even before it even gets started. Wow.

I know what you are talking about, it's where I first found out about Ferrell being in Winter Passing. So yeah, the trailer you saw on the DVD which showed Will Ferrell was the one for Winter Passing. Check it out again and you'll see what I mean.

That should be a commercial for Depends.

I don't think so V-X.

The score over at RottenTomatoes is 83%/77%. I predict that I'll be laughing my ass off at this one, I can't wait.

I'm going to see it tonight. IMDB rating = 8.1/10 (886 votes)

Vote for Snoopy, he's 35+.

For the record, Will Ferrell has already starred in a drama, and it comes out later this year. He plays Corbit, an "aspiring rocker". Winter Passing I see nothing wrong with Carrey's dramatic roles. As a matter of fact I've loved all of them. I'm glad he's evolved past Ace Ventura, as he has so much more to offer than that.

No, I actually like his moves...even Follow That Dream. It's all because of my father, he loves em.

Follow That Dream!

I'm totally with you. Everything I've seen of him that wasn't a comedy I've either enjoyed/loved. I didn't really like Ali, but I loved his role in that, and I flat out loved Collateral and I am pretty sure I'll love Ray also. To this day I haven't watched Any Given Sunday.

Damn nl5xsk1, you are missing out one some of the greatest films of all time, that's too bad. I do not avoid any actors, only piece of shit films. If a film is good, but it has an actor in it that I don't like, I really don't care. It's all about the movies. For me there are only really two actors that I always end up seeing their films in the theater (and I've seen all of their films period). Those two are Tom Hanks and Jim Carrey. These are the only two that I have, purposely, watched all of their movies in part because they were stars. There are plenty of other actors who I have seen all of their films, but it's more because of simple chance. I don't really care who is in any given film though. For example, I am not that big of a fan of Jammie Foxx but Ray looks like a classic, simply fantastic, film and I'll be there on opening night to watch it. Just like it was with Collateral. I don't really like Foxx, at least I didn't up to that point. I liked him in Ali also, but he wasn't really a driving force in that one. Now that his career seems to be going in a different direction, as noted by my making a thread dedicated to the guy not too long ago, I'll be keeping my eye on him more and more.
