Has there ever been a dramatic series which featuresd a largely black cast, in a positive light? I don't think the has been, really ever. OZ is one of the best shows ever, probably my #2 drama of all time, but it's hardly complimentary of black people. The closes I can come is The Wire.

I did not know about the MIB comic book. Hope it's good. Hope anything David Cross is involced with is good. He's sort of a dick. But he's brilliant. And i''m diverging from the point . The one unfrortunate thing about the SH video games is besides 3 (has an ending) 2(isn't really realted but has the most tragic stopry ever), they rarely hve a definite ending. I really, really liked the movie either way. How was I not going to with Pyramid Head? He's eadily in the top 10 video game villains, and The gamed are far scarier and more atmospheric than the movie, but I would still give the movei an OK grade.

Seriously the best villain ever, outside of mayber Char. Just watch him evolve (IN SUBS!)

Just.... Just watch The Vision of Escaflowne series subbed. It shouldn't be too hard to find at all. It really is the best. Best heroes, best villains, good animation, incredible voice acting, best score ever, besides maybe Cowboy Bebop (Same person). You really should see this show. It makes most shows look like heaping piles of shit, much less animes. It's only one season. Do it. The movie is OK. Same VAs, great Music, but the plot cannot compare. And it's trying way too hard to be this dour violent anime instead of the pure majesty of the series. The Vision of Escaflowne series is the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy epic. No exaggeration.

Well, when Teddy Dunn was acting like a emotionless psycho, I could understand. Once he tried to act like a normal person, everyone on the fucking cast just killed him in acting ability. It was embarassing. This kid was supposed to be smart? Ramantic? It was porn-level acting. Though he did go out with a bang.

I suppose, given an all-star cast, some good directing and a new script, Beastmaster would have sucked. But sucked less. If Nightmare on Elm Street had kept up the quality of the original (Halloween, as well), we could have had some great horror movies. Hey, here's one. I never really liked Men in Black, but thought the concept was really quite good. The first was OK. THe second was abysmal.

Diet Dew and Squirt are where it's at. Also Diet Dr. Pepper does taste an awful lot like regular. Too bad I think Dr. Pepper is really gross.

The first season was completely bare-bones, right? Man, the second season picked up once Duncan left. He wouldn't be out of place on many other high-school shows, but he was completely out of his league compared to the other young actors Bell, Dohring, Capra and Daggs (who improved greatly over the course of the first season) And whoever played Dick didn't have the most challenging role, but he was brilliant at it. And that's not even mentioning Keith and Lamb, who are all kinds of awesome. Shit, Iceman and Officer Leo were way better than Duncan.

DB is much better than DBZ because there's MUCH less filler. One thing about DBZ I hate is you're damned if you do, damned if you don't in terms of Dub v Sub Sub has Vegeta and Frieza with the best voices ever. Goku still sounds like a child when he grows up, though, and I just can't get past that. Dub has Vegeta and ESPECIALLY Frieza with the worst voices ever. Plus changing Mr. Satan's name? Heresy. I heard Escaflowne was shown on Adult Swim. How was it received? That show rules it, but hald the reason is the incredible Japanese voice acting. Dilandau's awesome. The fights in the show, by and large fucking SUCK in my opinion, tho.
