Jesus, Fear eddect was a RE/Out of this World knockoff. The first one got some hyped, and bombed, the second one tried to get people to buy it with pseudo lesbian content. A Parappa or ICO or Gitaroo Man or Gunstar Heroes or.... Wait a sec, I don't want that ducker to mess with games I LIKE. I was going to say that the Resident Evil movie was vaguely watchable mostly because of the cameo by Milla Jovovich's genitals, but he didn't even direct that. House of the Dead was so bad, it wasn't even watchable. And I'll watch ANYTHING.

As luck would have it, I just found ROTLD 3 for $4 at my local Hollywood, (as well as 28 Days Later). So I'll be watching that gem for the 1st time soon.

Ok, I think Shivers is in, but according to that definition, I think Evil Dead/ED2 should be out (though I LOVE those movies, of course) because the 'zombies' are not necessarily dead, and they also act with intelligence, even taking on the personality of the host to seduce the unpossessed.

Many games are becoming indistinguishable from each other. Almost every game seems to be a SOCOM or Splinter Cell or Max Payne clone. One of those that's really fun that may not stand out to people is Psi-Ops. The telekinesis is done really, really well, and the game gives you a feeling of being vulnerable and all-powerful at the same time. You can play it stealthily, you can just run in with your finger on the trigger, or you can mind control as much as possible, turning people against one another. Very fun. Punisher is a good rental, Frank's a beast though. I never died once from an enemies attacks. I'm playing System Shock 2. That's one hell of a great FPS, even if I don't like the genre. I have to play it on easy because i suck at FPS's though. Atelier Iris looks really fun to me. Anyone played? I bought God of War yesterday and my PS2 rejected it. I'm sad. I've lately had this annoying tendency to get to the last boss in something and then not finish the game. Growlanser II, Shadow Hearts, Xenosaga I, My last playthrough of FFVII. It's really weird. I badly, badly want another game in the Frequency/Amplitude series. Call it Frequency II and go back to the hard techno. Yeah, Ratchet and Clank are great games. Best platformers I've played in a long time (Psi-Ops is up there too if you count that.) The Silent Hill series has finally worn thin for me. I couldn't even bring myself to beat The Room. I thought it was pretty boring. I never hear people who really like RPG's calling FFVII their favourite, though most like it, myslef included. Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger get the most praise (deservedly so), then there's cult faves like Earthbound and Suikoden II (the latter is undeniably awesome). Also some games that can be super hardcore like FFTactics and Disgaea get lots of love. The Suikoden series has to be the most dissapointing series ever. Maybe followed by Tomb Raider.

I cleaned the lens, and it didn't make a noticeable difference either way. Well, I can trade it for $20 and get a refurbed PS2 from Gamestop for 120 (or 130 for the slim PS2, I think I'll go for that). Hey, I'll be able to beat Rez and Katamari and God of War and Viewtiful Joe and Growlanser II. yeah.

Movies like Undead are often available at specialty video stores, who'll buy bootlegs or movies from different regions. I saw Haute Tension like a year ago from the best video store in the world.

Versus Wild Zero Shivers The last one is debateable, it's a more of a zombie movie in the vein of 28 days. It's a parasite that can be sexually transmitted, and turns you into a sex-crazed zombie. As tawdry as that sounds, it's a hell of a movie. One of Cronenberg's first.

Now I wish they had one in chicken.

They're making a sequel to Versus. I love the well-dressed crazy guy. And I love that the cops have their little storyline that amounts to absolutely nothing.

Wild Zero is the shit, if you like that check out Versus. Great effin' movie. No Guitar Wolf, though.

Return of the Living Dead? That movie's the SHIT. And yeah, DayOTD sucks, I think the Reanimator's vastly overrated too. Probably for the 'giving HEAD omgroofle' scene. If Evil Dead II counts, it's #1.

Well my PS2 seems to be having problems. I just bought God of War and really wanted to get to some good ol ultraviolence, and it won't read the game. It's been steadily going downhill, And I had been playing with it on its side for over a year since that was the only way it worked. It boots up fine, but it just WON'T sense the disc. I've only had a game freeze on me like once if it can actually detect the disc. It's probably sorta dusty. Maybe I should pop it open, but I'd rather send it somewhere to get it refurbished. Do you know anyone who does this? Gamestop sells refurbed systems, perhaps them? Apparently I can send it back to Sony for like $20 plus shipping, but I want to play games now, dammit. I still have the last mission of Growlanser II to beat as well. Suggestions?

Going with beat-em-ups, Alien v Predator and the second D&D capcom beat-em-ups along with battle circuit, are incredible. I have it on good authority (i.e. everyone who's ever played it) that Guardian heroes is the best of all time, though.

You know, I saw it, and while I enjoyed it, it didn't feel like a Romero movie at all. Just a entertaining zombie movie. There were only a couple lasting shots

I agree that Sean provides some great comedy for the show. His Keanu is Dracula impression and his facial expressions when he was hitting on Laura were priceless. It seems that they're going a drama route with Franco, which makes me sad. He and Sean's interactions were great. I missed the 2nd ep! Argh. Does it replay?

Barron has this weird thing where he sticks up for all aspects of a celebrity he likes, like they're his personal friends or something. I actually think Cruise is decent and is very good at picking scripts. That doesn't mean he isn't acting like a complete retard here.

The flaming uppercut was the punch I meant. Took off massive amounts of damage, could be used over and over. I just remembered the animation of his special because it looked badass. It's been years since I played the game.

SoR2 is incredible, except the main char has that spinning flaming punch that you can pretty much use ad nauseum to beat the game.
